My first Macross figure: Yamoto 1/60 VF-1A Hikaru (DYRL)

Is VF-1S Focker a good 1/60 figure? I read the review in MCW. It says it fixes most of the problems the VF-1A Hikaru had. I'm thinking of getting of him later on.

Which of the 1/60s from Yamato is top notch then? Or at least strudy? I'm starting to really enjoy my new VF-1 a lot now that I finally figured out how to change it to battroid.

I'm slightly disappointed in this figure. The front land gear covers won't stay close. I already chipped some thing inside the body while attempting my first transformation from fighter to battroid. I hope the 1/48 won't have any problems. Because it better be worth the money. T_T

I should be getting my very first macross figure as well. It's a VF-1A Hikaru 1/60 from Yamato. Can't wait to see it and mess around with it. I should save up for a 1/48 someday.

While searching around for advice about beginnger figures, I thought I could drop this question here. Sorry if it's a bit off topic. Would you guys say the 1/60 valks be a good start off for newcomers like me? I'm in the process of getting my first figure myself from Bigkid24 I think. Just wondering. I've read some reviews, but I'll be searching for more info on them later.

Wow, that's going to be hard to choose from all of them. I was thinking between Roy's or the cannon fodder. Tough choices...

Which of the DYRL verisons do you have? And, are these the ones that you have to detach the legs to transform it from fighter to battroid?

I'm new to the Macross World and to Macross itself. I recently posted in the forums about which macross figure is cheap and good to buy. Some say Yamato's 1/60 would go for around $30 plus. That's what I have heard from others. Does anyone have any for sale? I am not sure which 1/60 I want, as long as its a Yamato and it's 1/60 for cheap. Thanks for helping.

Thanks for all the help. I now plan on looking for a 1/60 Yamato figure. Are all the figures in 1/60 price ranged in the $30? Or do go for more? If possible, could you list the $30 ones? I'll keep an eye out for one in the trade section in this forum. Thanks again guys.

I see. But I'm in a money crunch at the momment. Jobless and with only $30 to spare, I guess I can always wait for Chinese New Year . Is there any recommendations on a Macross model? All seem good, but I can't see myself spending around $100 plus for one of these. Though, I really want a nice macross figure to display on my dead desktop.

Oh, and another thing, is there any good spots to buy from? Online stores and such?

This is my first time looking for a macross figure because I just recently got into the macross world.

Usually I thought these kinds of products from Yamato was more expensive like in the $70-80 range.
