Been around since alt.fan macross, posted under this name and a bunch of others (I posted so infrequently I could never remember my name). I made some friends a long time ago here, there was this kid who went to Columbia B school, and another guy who was a JAG lawyer in NY. Also remember Yoshi, Rick the Hunter, and Rosario Love. I don't see any of those guys around anymore unless they are using different names.

I'm curious as to the buyer demographic for the Cayenne; it seems to me that the buyer seeking a luxury marque SUV with performance in its genes would go for a 'Merc, BMW or something along those lines. Why or how do they decide on a Porsche? Porsche, at least to me, is a name that is associated with the epitome of German sports-car performance available to those that can afford it, not well-to-do soccer mom and her screaming brats.

Ah well, I guess I have to be able to afford one to understand...

I think the idea behind the Cayenne was making a 1 Porsche family, a 2 Porsche family.

I have seen everything Macross, M7 was the worst, but it was for kids... Like going for a different market, so I can't be too hard on it. Some of the music was pretty good.

I get pissed by fan trailers, they get me excited with an idea (not this one though) then poorly execute with obviously clipped stuff from other movies we have already seen.

Its like setting a friend up on a blind date, saying the girl would come over to his house, then doorbell-ditching him and leaving behind a blow-up doll.

I never had a problem with the COTB dub either, but I admit it could have been done better. I haven't watched it in years but I vaguely remember Hikaru yelling Minmay's name when Roy died... Is that right?

Years ago I knew someone at Harmony Gold that said that this movie was the property of that company and that it was going to be released again but dubbed in English and un-edited. Is this out or is it going to come out?
