Hi guys,
Long time sneaky lurker here. I recently got my hands on a renewal vf25s from the reissue, but noticed now that the super parts have become pretty expensive. Is anyone willing to part with an extra set for a reasonable price, used or new? Thanks.

I have the same problem with the clips : (

At the risk of sounding retarded...
What is this mystical "hot glue" and epoxy stuff you guys speak of, and how do you get it off? Those certainly sound like better solutions than my toilet paper... :\

Well, the leg-to-backpack tabs still aren't as tight as they need to be to keep the legs from popping off when I zoom the plane around in your house... err, I mean when my kid zoom the plane around .
My 0S definite has that same problem, and I came up with a very simple solution, albiet it's a bit crude. If you got any toilet paper in your house, just take a small piece of it and try to separate the layers until you're down to the smallest layer possible. Simply place the small and thin piece of toilet paper over the backpack hole before you push the leg pegs in, and the fit should be more than tight enough for you...errr, i mean your kid...to zoom it around any time you want.
It's ghetto, but to be it's a simple solution that to me is preferable to, say, gluing the leg to the backpack, as i can remove that thiny, thin piece of toilet paper whenever i want.
Just my 2 cents

What's that line by DD in macross zero again?? Something like "be it a virgin or machine, handle it delicately"
P.S. That's a great idea fly4victory. My zero's gunarm can't really support the gunpod either...i never thought out supporting it with the missles and wings.
-
I was thinking about that too, but after folding them a few times, i don't think i can reliably determine which wing should be on top...both ways of folding it seems to strain it to me. Does anyone know whether the right wing or the left wing is supposed to on top?

Just a quick Q for all you VF-0S owners out there. From what I understand, in battroid mode, the VF-0S's wings are supposed to overlap each other when they are folded. When I do this, however, I noticed that the overlapping wings put quite a lot of strain on the backplate they are attached to, stressing not only the backplate itself but also its attachment to the metal bar that holds the battroid's body in place
Is leaving my zero in battroid mode with its wings folded going to be harmful in the long run, or am I just being overly paranoid???

Thanks for the info!

Just curious about how much a new Yamato 1/60 scale VF-1J super valkyrie (hikaru) would sell for nowadays. I searched around the internet for awhile but I can't seem to find them for sale, so I have turned to you guys for help. Thanks in advance

Nevermind, after much sweat and tears, i finally figured out how to take the intake covers off.
Yes, I am slighly retarded.

First post! Anyway, I've been lurking around these forums for some time while making a desion as to whether I should buy a yamato VF-0S valk. To make a long story short, I eventually decided to give in to the temptation and recieved my first ever valkyrie in my mail two days ago.
The good news is, I absolutely LOVE the look of the VF-0S...this has got to be one of the most beautiful toys I have ever seen. The attention to detail on it is simply amazing, and I could spend half an hour just staring at it and drooling.
The bad news is, my zero does suffer from the floppiness issues that have been discussed quite a bit in these forums...of course I can't really complain about that since i knew what i was getting into. I think I must have at least had 3 heart attacks my first time transforming it since i'm a complete noob with these things (and the zero, in my opinion, is not a noob valk), but fortunately, I didn't break anything.
One thing I cannot figure out for the life of me though...How do you take the intake covers off to reveal the engines??? I'm sure there's got to be a better way than to try to rip it out with brute force, and I would appreciate it if any VF-0 owners can answer this stupid question from a nooby Zero fanboy.
P.S. Has anyone been able to tighten up the arm joints in any way? There is very little motivation for me to transform this baby into battleroid mode if it can barely keep it's arms up with a gunpod...
