I - WILL - BUY !!!!
:D :D :D :D

Sorry for the quick question, does the 1/60 VF-1S Max (normal, not weathered version) come with the smooth pins? Can I give my money to Yamato? This has taken the joy out of the hobby.
Cheers, p.s. I'm located in Hong Kong, not sure if this makes a difference.

Apologies for not searching the archives, quick question, does the 2008 reissue 1/55 valks have out-of-the-box the shoulder stickers already applied? I have the 1st reissue and the shoulders are bare.
Cheers!

Can we expect straight tailfins for the forthcoming Yamato 1/48 VF-1S Roy Focker DYRL reissue in October? I ain't willing to pay premium for a old release, and tired of displaying my current one always 'pointing to the left' What are my chances?

it seems as though he didnt use any decals for the blue markings...did he? looks like airbrush-ing to me
I meant the Minmay, 'sponsors', 'no step', and all the small detailed images etc. If it's from Anasazi's then we wont be able to own one of these beauties unless Yamato steps in.
Even then I doubt it'll look better than this. Yamato can't even get my VF-1S tailfin skull straight!

My G.. that is the most beautiful custom I have ever laid eyes on. I really like the clean and crisp finish. Not sure how much you paid for it but many congratulations. Did the artist use Anasazi decals?

Very nice! I hope we see some Valks too.

Hi, is there a website or reference where I can read up on the Blues Roses/VF-1J/Hikaru's daughter side-story? Or am I getting this all wrong?
I'm interested about the origin of the Blue Roses/VF-1J, especially after seeing so many cool customs on the Macross World main site.
Cheers!

Takatoku 1/55 VF-1S with GBP!
Followed with Takatoku 1/55 VF-1S with Fast Packs
Although the current Yamatos are far superior I was very privilege to have parents who could (and would!) buy so many toys during my childhood.

Great news!! Thankfully I didn't get the Hikaru 1J and Stealth, I am missing a 1J in my collection and really wanted the Max 1J!
-
Dig the urban GBP!
Can someone kindly post the urban GBP on Focker VF-1S? I hear the yellow chest plate matches Focker's scheme.
Cheers!!

The VF-1S wins no contest here, move along pll.
The vf-1s is the most coolest in robot mode. Its very stable, tight joint, and great transformation with locking systems, and feels like you are not being ripped-off for the money you are paying. The vf-0s doesnt have that feeling. Sure, it maybe nice in plane mode, but in robot mode, i think the vf-1s shines the most.
If you're referring to the yammie 1/48 valk, yes. But in Fighter/Gerwalk mode, the VF-1A's smaller head appears more flush to the underside of the nose
-
Chronologically speaking, isn't the VF-0 a prototype for the VF-1? I can't see how the VF-0 is a more 'updated, modern' design of the VF-1
VF-1S all the way.

skull001,
I love your pics. Btw, the stealth strike pack isnt that great on Roy. Vf-1a hikaru though does look better.
Thanks for the advice, the stealth packs are pretty hard to find standalone anyway!
Some Super Max for the thread. I love these 1/48s!

Yet another Strike Roy pic for the thread
Man, I also need to check out some stealth fast packs for this baby...

Folks, we don't need no more valks...
We need Misa and Minmay figures in ridiculously little clothing!
Just kidding, I think we covered the main issues, QC and Tampo printing. I have a feeling we haven't seen the end of the 1/48 VF-1 (VT-1? VE-1? VF-1D? or just more colors?) so I'm happy as it is
-
Apologies if this is posted before, the left foot of my Max VF-1A doesn't come out smoothly from fighter to standing mode. I think either the groove or the foot is not molded correctly. In Gerwalk/Batt mode the left foot is loose and won't hold up in a straight line to the lower foot. Any ideas to fix this? Or how to disassemble the lower leg to take a look. Cheers!

The real thing is, aside from removable armors, what advantage would a PG 1/48th scale Valkyrie have over a Yammie 1/48?
Obviously the enjoyment of killing time to build the kit With Bandai MG/PG there's no need for glue or mass puttying unlike the hasegawa. Plus OOB electronic lighting kit. They could make lighting in the visor, wings, gun and even cockpit.
-
Wow! That must be it! You're a genius!!!
Haha yeah it does sound kinda silly huh? I guess this thread "Hope For the Future" is pretty much free-for-all comments haha
I do hope Bandai come up with some new designs and not just reissue the Imai/Arai. The Hasegawas require too much effort for a novice like me

Just take a second and really imagine the PG Valk. Inner skeleton, easily customizable...hell they could steal an idea from banpresto and add different heads so you could have a 1S or a 1J, even a 1A. And the articulation, along with the fast packs...damn I want one so bad! Finally, a truly decent variable Macross model could be made. They could even throw in a Launch Arm for display! I haven't even started visualizing PG GBP armor! Bandai needs to get with it and make a new Macross product, it's been to long and they could show Yamato how it's done!
Apologies to any Gundam fans out there, but if Bandai produced the VF-1 in MG or PG scale, it'll totally smoke the Gundams. I have a suspicious feeling that they don't want to risk the Gundam modelling franchise by producing a better mecha.
We'll get plenty of Gundam Seeds (and now a MG custom green GM sniper) but alas we'll never see the VF-1s

The game is cool, just can't get the S ranks

Acid question: new shoulder or old? Will it crack? Cheers,
