At least the 6 inch Bo is around $20 USD than compared to the $280 (?) 1/6th version which takes up a chunk of space in the display case (unless your into 1/6th stuff) @Erebos

Yeah, that's a good point. The cost and space of the 1/12th figures works out well.

and talking about cost... this guy came in today.  This and the 1J are the ones i've always wanted.  But I paid the iron price for this one. :( I doubt i'll dip into the DX VFs for a while.

  2. I'm really enjoying everyone's photos in this thread :good:

Bought an OWL-ONE series two during the sale and it just landed with a few display stands.  I thought it might add a little something different to my HMR 1J.  What a transformation!

I don't think i'll be taking this armour off

Those display stand arms work really great with the FEXT SCIFI system for some suspended-in-mid-air fun

  3. Hi, thanks to everyone in this thread for the awesome shot of the FextHobby stuff.  It inspired me to look into it.

I had a bit of fun putting together the Sci-Fi 03 set.  I've used two to create a fairly plain hanger as my first go.  Unfortunately i've clumsily snapped off a few teeth from a couple of the connector pieces in the process but it's all come together nicely.

Here's a few pics of the Arcadia 1/60s

I really like the configurations that you can come up with and the clear squares that act as a light diffuser.  After playing around a bit with it i'd recommend more than one set to display more than one of the bigger 1/48 scale Valks.  Here, i've gone 4x4 squares and 3 levels up

Sorry about the picture quality and the spam.

*edit: some wording and a double up pic

  4. Hi guys, I post a my Arcadia M&Ms in the M&M thread a while ago.  Today I got an Alpha stand in the mail and it's awesome.  I'm still working out how to best position and configure the arms.  I'm so impressed with the quality, versatility and ease of set up of the stand.

Here are a couple of pic.  Sorry about the quality.

Here's one just to see the stand a little more clearly

This set up uses the following bits:

YetiStand Alpha Standard, elbow, 2 x YA banking adapters (for Arcadia valks), dual arm
