The tab is broken in half near the screw, hence gluing it is definitely not an option. I tried, but with the torque of the screw, the tab keeps breaking at the hole. Reminded me of my basic physics/mechanics class...

Sorry for the crappy quality, but here is a picture of the arm.

It's hard to tell from the picture (it looks like it broke right where the screw is) but can u use something like a screw washer (and some glue) to attempt to hold eveything together?

The wings are definitely tighter than the original one. The original is more movie color accurate. I like the stand that comes with it a lot. If you want a Ghidorah and missed the first one, get this new one for sure.

I'm not exaggerating there are some dumb bone headed ideas on that toy that make me go why? Pins that are too large inside the heat shield that when folded down scratch the canopy. They ditched the chest locking mechanism, when the 0D and the old 2006 VF-0s had them and worked great. Why on earth are there so many pointless painted surfaces on the this thing when they could have saved money by just molding it in the same grey plastic like the old 0A. Spots on the wings, the legs the shoulders can all easily scratch paint. My copy has a large 1 inch long paint chip on part of the knee that should not have been painted in the first place. And finally the hip problem, which I won't get into depth, but it's been attempted to be repaired by multiple people and it still falls off. To make things worse even if I have a contact in Japan, Arcadia would not respond to my request for replacement parts. So, yes I hate the VF-0A with a passion and is my single worse toy purchase this year and possibly ever. Okay rant over.

I would light the VF-0A on fire if someone gave me my money back.

I did it! I just preordered the Monster from Ami-Ami.

What a way to start collecting Macross Toys again. I have a preorder for the Glaug & Monster. My Regult is in the mail. Shame there's no at near original retail VF-1 available. What got my interest in this line was bad guy mecha to go along with hero mecha. I passed on getting a VF-1 because I wanted to make sure I had a Regult first.

Now I have to the end of July to sell some of my older stuff.

So Ami-Ami charges you when the pre-ordered items arrives? Sorry, I've never ordered from them before and don't understand how their pre-orders work.
