Bueno, realmente yo no tuve nada que ver con Robotech ni con otros animes del estilo, sino que empecé a ver la primera Macross a principio de este año y me gustó el tema de la guerra espacial, los alienigenas gigantes y los aviones-robots así que me copo la idea. Otra cosa que rescaté es que a pesar de la anticuada animación de principio de los 80´, algo que me gustó mucho son los dibujos de esa época, que tienen como mayor sensibilidad de diseño y de forma de dibujar, más ergonómica que los del anime de la actualidad. Mas alla de eso las series de Macross que continuaron, así como los Valkiries y la misma música, me terminaron haciendo un fan de la serie.

I'm writing a Macross fanfic with a lot of Meltran plot on it and figuring how those woman lived and fight in the years previous to the human encounter is a very challenging task... you know, what they do besides kill other zentraedis or the Supervision Army.

Hope you like this community, there a lot of spanish speakers as well (We have a little dedicated forum too!) and this is one of the best places to get inspiration!
