1. Let's just imagine the large panel pic looks abit like final battle against Boldoza... except without Strike-Parts. *bleh* <_<

My webcam is still low for quality... I tried painting my Roy's VF-1S into Hikaru's accents.

But here's my question about paints: Which paint type is better, Arcylic, Enamel or others?

I never knew the "Grey-neck-hinge" is useful bending it's neck sidewards. (like sniping pose...) hope this helps when it comes to advanced battroid poses. ;) Next time I'll buy my Super and Strike parts later on.

P.S. (I'm new using this attachment thingy... not so sure if it works .. )

  2. O__O yeah... it's really big for a VF when it comes for one thing: "a Pilot"

If looking carefully for a Pilot-size and a VF size... the VF-0, YF-21/19 are much bigger than the VF-1.

^,^' my point of view that is in mind.

  3. I know some people think Yamato Stickers were too thick... but there's more...

After applying Yamato-stickers on my Roy's 1/48, and yes I see an ugly excess layer is still there (the blank-transparent parts). but when I look closer and scratch a small loose sideways of each stickers, WOAH! "The thin-layer PEELS infront" making the stickers look "thinner" rather than just a slap-on decals one time. Also they look abit shiny and clear too. (and one careful-tip, don't scratch with force... just peel.) ^^' it's just luck I thought my Valk looks ugly, but it isnt anymore.

I accidentally discover something like this, which why I'm wondering most Toy-boxes shows it's picture about decals without thick blurry-square-layered stickers. Like Zoids for example... decals look much "White Scotch-tape-ish" and the same thing like Yamato ones. or some like removeable-fake and shiny tattoos. ;P

Hope this might be helpful. and tell me what you think? ^^'

  4. use colgate! it does nice things to my teeth :D

na..just kiddin...if you want some putty...I can just send it to you but you have to pay shipping...BUT its the green putty...I dont know if itll melt the pastic on the VF-11B as it melts model kit plastic (mwcheng said so) so, LMK if you want to give it a try :p

ahahahaha! XDDD I dunno if toothpaste works on plastic, covered with cavity protection... aside from teeth. *giggles* No plastic decay! :p j/k

  5. I think the box design for the CF....

    Totally SUCKS!!!....

    What's with Yamato??

The box design is one of the crucial parts of attracting someone to even notice the product on the shelves....

    tsk... tsk...

    330310

As a graphic-anime artist myself... If only the box-design were only plain-coffee colored and there are Faded toy pics in each parts better just like the Low-viz-box or Hikaru VF-1S. =( If only I were there in their box-designin staff, I would judge the pics design first before releasing... for consumers satisfaction

^D^''' eheheh... just my thoughts in mind.

  6. Tv fast-packs looks much better just like the series. As for other people... well it depends what they like to. ;)

^w^ Gewd news around here... It's my Nephew's 9th Birthday and we got our first Yamato VF Cannon Fodder as his b-day gift! *Yays*

except, it's 1/60 Toys'R'Us Version. TwT drats... At least I'm proud of him so I can play it by borrowing while waiting for my 1/48 Roy Focker (it's still past 2 1/2 months from Hawaii (Joys'N'Toys online Store) to deliver here in the Philippines. I thought they said it was about 1-4 weeks... ah well I still wait though)

Anyways, those pics of your CF makes mee watchin it alil bit longer, totally awesome! =D

  7. oh dear, id love to work on that paper valk! but my computer sucks and doesnt have the proper program to open the zip file XP

    326510

Try WinRAR to open any lzh files.

And ^_^ Great find on the paper-VF Fighter, Renato. Thanks! I guess It'll be next after completing my paper EVA-01 figure.

    *gets Cardboard to print* ;3

  8. Are there any Paper-figures of the VF 1?

which reminds of my old japanese Inter-Brain software Eva 01 Paper-figure kit that prints runner-ups into a paper, then cutting and build into a giant figure. ^^' I dunno if the Valk paper-figures exists...

  9. Err...current exchange rate is Php 54.5 to a $1. So, $300 would be just Php 16,000. About half of your keyboard!

ah... XD eheh... meh and my lousy calculations, looks like I dont have to worry about dollars vs pesos. Thanks Ensign.

Connor99 quote: Welcome to MW,NEOSLASHOTT !! Might wanna try GREATTOYS.net, if yer based in P.I. The re-ish VF-1S ROY's are of somewhat reasonable price still. Good luck

You're a Pinoy too?! ^__^ I never knew Greattoys were on Philippines. In Manila, I only saw 2 Roys in stock, is it second re-ish? XD aaah! I might buy that one along with Super and Strike Parts. ^____^ Salamat, Connor! Now I definitely buy one in peace. (dang, if only Hikaru VF-1S is there too.)

Ed Coli quote: Valk Exchange is probably your best bet. The 1/48s are quickly becoming expensive, though, so you might want to wait until the Cannon Fodder is released to start your addiction.

    Welcome to MW!

Thanks for the warm welcome, Ed Coli ^_^ Sadly, Miria isnt my type of valk there, some others are out of stock. Cannon Fodders worth the wait, I bet it's really good news.

Good thing Conor told me where the nearest store is... no problems at shipping expenses.

Alrighty! =D time for me to buy my first Valk! (Yammies so Yummy! *eat's em* lol j/k ^_^ )

    Thank you everyone!

  10. gyargh.... @__@' must buy valk... must buy valk...

eherm... I'm new here, being a fellow fan-artist and modeling-kit-collector. After days of finding some toys/modeling kits on websites, till I landed on that unique toy Yamato 1/48, it was My today's obsession. I feel like I wanna buy that Valk, it reminded me since I'm 5, my mom bought the very-old and small transformable VF-1S with no fastpacks, just permanent-Leg booster type... blue tailfins attached each legs. (not Yamato-ish... forgot what company name is.)

I firstly found one at Tisinc, trying to buy the Yamato VF-1J Super Valkyrie... I dunno why it's prices were so high every month, Last January the VF-1J priced at $135 till it's $229 for now. It's much too pricey as my Yamaha Keyboard 30,000+ pesos... In the Philippines. Most arggh-able thingy is the Hikaru VF-1S at 40,000 pesos ( $299 dang dollarz >_< eegh! )

Dang... I should buy it earlier, but it's no good I have low allowances. I still wait till becomes fair at reasonable price. Otherwise stocked-out 1/48 would be bad thing. =(

Are there any sites selling Yamato 1/48s so I could carefully choose where to buy it very well. It would be glad if anyone help me out. ^^''

Thanks for readin, and Hi to anyone Macross fans out there. ^_^
