So this is my first ever Macross purchase and I know I'm way late to the party but OMG this toy is incredible!

How long does it take to process digital photos?
About as long as it takes Canada Customs to clear my package.
-
Thats pretty cheap where do you live?
I think he mention he is at Toronto, Canada
Since we are talking a little about shipping. I just got a tracking number for SAL. Can this be track from DHL site?
Yep - Toronto, Canada. Or to be more specific, a city 40min just south of there.
-
How much did the shipping cost for you?
¥3300

Yay! Mine finally shipped from HLJ. Going by past experience it'll most likely get to me by Monday.

hmm seems like amiami = bend you over on shipping. live and learn..
Eh, it sort of evens out. Amiami's had a bigger discount on the MSRP, which was 14400Y. HLJ's price was 15120Y.
The end result is about the same.

btw what are you guys seeing for shipping costs on your VF-1S from various retailers and methods? It'd be "nice to know" going forward as the VF-1S i'm sure has the same box size and weight as any VF-1 going forward.
EMS from amiami to me (east coast USA) - 4000Y,
SAL from amiami to me (east coast USA) - 3850Y,
EMS seems a no brainer in this case at amiami.
EMS from HLJ to me (Toronto, Canada) - 3300Y
Also, had a couple of keychains and other small items in the box.

Conversely, it becomes such a hassle when changing out adapters or adjusting angles.
Of course! Do whatever you want with the picture.
My backdrop is two sets of WAVE H-Hangers (http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVHH-11/Sup). The black space surrounding it is just foam board.
As for my setup, I have two desk lamps aimed straight at the Valk from the upper corners just outside of the frame. I shot the photo with an iPhone 4 and adjusted exposure, contrast and brightness afterwards in photoshop until I found something I liked. Hope that helps!
