Funny haven't gotten any notification from HLJ about that one? Didn't know they were so late, wonder what the shipping costs will be from HLJ.
I just got my request from HLJ for payment. This is what they're showing for shipping.

That's brilliant! Thanks very much!
Oh, man, those are some serious Destroid reinforcements. My three feel terribly inadequate now.

HLJ has opened up orders on the VF-2SS again. AmiAmi probably will, too, but I went ahead and jumped on this just in case.

Maybe for Christmas Santa will bring us a HMR Queadluun-Rau.

I use FigInStock all the time but it doesn't guarantee catching a restock.. Unfortunately, with the time difference the restocks are usually late at night and gone by the morning. I'm loathe to use N-Y but it doesn't seem like they've listed it at all yet. Otherwise I'm down to hoping I can finagle the timing with a restock elsewhere.

Grah. Under the weather and missed this completely. Hopefully someone with a pay later option will open up orders again at some point.

I've never been charged a fee for packages coming into the U.S with DHL.

You can leave a signed note on the door or usually pre-sign for DHL deliveries online. Alternately, you can designate a local location to have the packages dropped off and held at (usually a store like PakMail or something). My local DHL facility is about three hours away so it's a nightmare if I don't want to leave a note and have my package sitting on the porch all day because the only service location in my entire town closes at 6pm and the DHL driver doesn't usually get into town until 4pm or so.

Heck, I already received my MP Megatron and the tracking number still doesn't indicate it's arrival
Not scaring you or nothing. Your Destroid will arrive......eventually
Huh. I guess it must depend on where you are. The tracking numbers I get from AmiAmi show pretty much every step of the transit. If something's missing, it's because the postal service just couldn't be bothered to scan it at that point.

I'm not entirely sure about sadness. Pain? Definitely. Sadness? That remains to be seen.

I dig it. I'm glad I ordered one, though I was apprehensive at first. It's grown on me.

The idea is to manufacture the same pieces offered by Yamato, including a pilot version tv that in the line HMR are horrible. For the pilot I will be based on the movie version of HMR that has better proportions. When I have some progress I will upload photos, now I am waiting for the missile effects to reproduce them in crystal recin, we will see that leaves ...
I'm looking forward to seeing the results! Especially the missile effects.

More-or-less, yeah. Most of the individual kits are designed for N-gauge train sets, which are 1:150 scale. I originally started getting them to complement my HG Gunpla...
I wasn't expecting Hi-Metal R toys to work as well as they do, actually.
'Fraid not. The smallest Patlabor stuff I have is 1:60 scale.
Wow. That diorama is amazing! I wish I had the patience to put something like that together. Very, very well done!
Also, I don't know if anyone is still looking for the HMR Monster, but Jungle Toys has one for ¥17,280. If you haven't used them before, they do charge a 5% on top of the price for international customers (if I remember correctly, it's been a while since I ordered from them) so factor that into whether it's a good deal for you or not. I wish I had the cash to grab a third one, but I am way overspent for the next couple of months. Ah, collecting!

I managed to grab another missile set off Amazon JP for $60 shipped. I really hadn't anticipated how difficult it might be to get more of these. I figured quantities would probably be low, it being a TWE and all, but the price is skyrocketing faster than I thought it might. Heck, there is only one set on YJA right now.

Wow. That's crazy. I can't imagine that sort of thing would endear them to their customers. I saw a couple of sets on Taobao, but I haven't done any ordering from there before so I'm a little apprehensive. I'm still wondering if DATONG or someone will produce KOs of these sets like they do the Tamashii Effects pieces. It wouldn't surprise me, especially seeing as how in demand these suckers are.

That's for sure. I meant to order two sets and somehow ended up only grabbing one. They're crazy scarce at this point and both I and my wallet are really going to regret not paying more attention to the order.

I got three there, thanks though! I'm shooting for six of each of the (non-Monster Destroids). I finally managed to up my count to four, including HLJ. I'm holding off on N-Y, as I have had issues with them in the past, and hoping Hobby Search opens back up again. They often do right before a release. If all else fails, I'm hoping they won't be too bad on the secondary market. I may love me some Valkyries, but I have always had a major soft spot for the Destroids.

Crud. I forgot preorders opened last night. Thankfully AmiAmi still had them available. I could only get three, but what can you do, eh?

It may be the cold medicine talking, but I kind of like it. There's a lot of metallic paint on that sucker, though.
