1. Hi Brother,

Welcome to MW, hope you will enjoy to show your works here :D:D

By the way, you can also start a post about your custom made Z Gundam here...

all the buddies must love to see your amazing job. I promise you will be swamped with huge feedback~~ Watch out!! :p:p

  2. Sweet. Nice paint job  :)

Did you use a glossy coat on top of the base color?

    326356

Yes, I spray a glossy coat on the top of whole model, however I'm not dare to spray too much/thick overall because sometimes will found a white coat appear on the dark color area after works. :(:(

  3. Cool dude.

How did you make the pilot do the thumbs up?

Just take note, both seamlines for both fastpacks can still be seen.

The thumbs up is custom made by myself with putty, it's a easy but small work.

Yes, the seamlines is too bad can be seen after painted... I'm too lazy to retouch them :p:p

  4. Sweet!  What color did you use on the fast packs?

    325853

Mixed with Blue & White but add a little bit of Fluorescent Red from the brand of Mr Color.

If you want to know detail, I can check the number for you when I'm back home.:lol:

  5. Amazing! Great work! :)

Did you take pics during the project? Would love to see them Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't take any pics during I build the model :p

That's why I'm not a good modeller like most of here you can found... I'm too lazy :p

  6. Beautiful... where did you come up with for the color scheme (especially for the radome)?

    The color scheme reference:

How I make the radar color:

First of all, I make the 1:1 artwork by computer. (attached ref.)

Then print it on a transparency for putting the masking tape on.

Use compass cutter to cut off the shapes.

Spray the color by white first, then orange & black.

Remask the whole disk for trimming/spraying the edge in orange.

  7. Wow man, that sucks major ass-age.... I dont know much about it, but depending on how melted the front bit is shape and contour wise, you MIGHT be able to sand it down with multiple grits of sandpaper until you get to a really fine one, and then dip the canopy in Future.... otherwise, it looks like you will either have to get a replacement from somewhere, or do a battle-damaged valk :p

    Hi Gabe Q,

I can give a little suggestion on your problem:

After you did the step from "promethuem5" advise, you can use the "Finishing Compound" to re-shine the sanded canpoy, just like removing the parting line on it. Gloss finish can be obtained with super fine level compound.

  8. Hi Buddies,

I've a question after seen the last episode "Bird man". Could anybody tell me what is the plane of Shin driving at the dogfight scene?

I find some info say that is a VF-0S, but the head seems a VF-0A... If so, do you have any idea of the plane's color combination should be?

*Such as Roy Focker's VF-0S is "Yellow & Black" on a white plane.

    Thanks a lot,
