does anyone know how to strip off paint from a tamiya lacquer based spray can paint safely? can i just use ordinary thinner?

hi. i am new to modelling and i've got some questions about glueing plastics. I've been using those CA type glues which dries really fast like 10-15 seconds. The problem is, when gluing difficult parts like the fuselage of a plane, fast drying glues are a pain to work with because i need time to move the parts around for an accurate fit, and CA glue won't let me do that. So, what are your recommendations to solve this problem? All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Wow, that Valk II looks real well put together. How did you create the VF-2SS without incorporating the fast pack? I just picked up my own model of this figure this weekend for $26 from a new anime shop I found. I'm hoping to complete it after I finish up the Q-Rau model kit I picked up a few months ago.

Does anyone know the going price of the VF-2SS model these days?

If I decided to purchase the clear version, will there be a problem if I decided to paint it? Or is that version unsuitable for painting?

Hi. I'm kinda new to this post but I'd be glad if you guys could help me out. I was thinking of purchasing one of the Hasegawa's 1/72 VF fighter kits, but I found out that there are two version of those : the normal ones and the clear plastic versions. What are the differences between those two? And which is better? Any help appreciated. THanks.

May I pose a question?

I've just got my Hasegawa 1/72 VF-1A Fighter. Right now I'm using Tamiya acrylics for my other models I worked on. Maybe if I have the time I'm gonna look for Gunze Sangyo's. However, I'm unsure of what kind of color should I use as the main coat for this baby. Should I go for gloss, semi-gloss or flat white? Which type shall it look best on? I don't want it to look kinda toyish when it's done. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
