  3. I am foaming at the mouth for the new takara megatron masterpiece edition:

    http://www.bbts.com/bbts/product.aspx?prod...amp;mode=retail

But I simply will not accept a permanently affixed orange plug on the end of the barrel... in fact, the idea of anyone opening the packages other than me is maddening. I understand there are laws to be upheld.. but honestly here people, i have had airsoft guns  imported into this country that are essentially identical to the real thing without having to deal with this orange plug madness.

there absolutely has to be someone who can get me 2 of these in pristine unopened condition....

    help :(

  4. just a little tip, i saw one of those torch-style halogen lights in one of your pics. GET THAT THING OUTTA THERE! every year those things cause many fires across the country, usually because a poster or drape falls onto the top and makes contact with the bulb. some of the newer models have cages over the top to provent this type of thing but i wouldnt chance it man. i think i would cry if i found out that all those wonderfull toys were destroyed by fire.

  5. and heres a pic of the UPS box that it came in, i didnt notice the dammage untill just now. frikkin UPS retards, gess they didnt see the big orange sticker on the box that said FRAGILE

  6. ok heres a pic of the damage to the toy box itself, its hard to see because my digital camera sucks, but if you look at the very top edge at the center you can see the dent, what you cant see is that there are creases in the box that go a few inches across the top of the box from that point and they also extend almost half-way down the back of the box.

  7. well i think the problem was that usps probably man-handled the box and that was the cause. but what contributed to the problem was the styrofoam corners that were used in the box, it didnt provide enough cushion from any type of pressure on the sides of the box. if popcorn or bubble-wrap had been used to cushion the toy from all sides(ala BBTS), the box would have been far more resiliant to this type of pressure. as a result with any squeezing of the sides of the box, or more specifically the corners, this pressure was directly applied to the toy box as well. and i got a big crease on the back of the box from the bowing as a result of this pressure. ill try to post a pic of the dammage. its not the worst ive recieved but this kind of stuff really irks me. i guess my chioce of words werent the best.. i just find that solid styrofoam doesnt protect the box as well as one would think.

kevin you were extremely polite on the phone and i didnt want to make a stink, but i will send you an e-mail and pictures of the dammage. the toy hasnt been opened so its still sealed.
