  1. sorry guys didn't know the forum was up again. Been a long time since i logged on.

    Okay down to business.

I wonder if thera re gonna be much more vf1 1/48???

what I mean is more Generic pilot like ones in generic colors

in the A,J and S model.

Id love to see a low visibility vf-1j with a color scheme muc like the old vf-1a low visibility

but in a grayish tinge. better yet a Vf-1S in That color scheme or in the color scheme the vf1-j (stealth color)

perhaps pack for the TV version pilots both characters and generic...

  2. can anyone remember the bmx crash helmet "integra" series?

a particular visor attachment for it with a little modification wo

make it look similar to a vf helmet?? (the crown is made of

either blue or red plastic but the sides is wrapped around it

is in a similar shape to a vf helmet..disturbing..)

cannot find pics but remember these suckers were

    made in the early 90's

    anyone got a pic?

  3. Finally someone else posts something i've desired to go with ANY

    valk.

I agree whole heartedly?? where the HELL are they??

maybe ask rohby to make a custom one..

(er gotta get off the the pot before I remember that

I am not in a valk writing hanging off the

    second floor balcony....)

I'd consider a generic 1/48 regult compensation for yamato making

1/60 that you need to remove the legs to transform..

  4. apologies for not loggin in earlier since I thought the forum was still

closed so if this post is redundat admins please remove this.

I noticed back that people were craving for more

    destroid or zentraedi mecha?

Will there be any future releases for 1/48 in destroid mecha at least?

(though I'd fancy A spartan the tomahawk seems to be a fav subject on this matter)

  5. do they have a 1:1 scale on offer??

    Preferabbly "inflatable":D

If it was Millia, My air compressor would run out of juice after

    the first "rack" is inflated..

I heard somewhere someone was offering a "custom" minmay that was made using

volks ,azone and takara doll parts(the head was a takara)

but forgot what site. anyone know of it??

  6. Heh, the way this thread  is going maybe I need to discuss with Shawn whether we need to open a new section for Macross doll porn?

    Graham

What, after the new Hentai section opens?

Why not include it in the new Hentai Section?

hey anubis speaking on the "subject" nice avatar, what game is it from??

    is it "h" related?

Hmm.. I'd like to see a nude pic on teh side of a valk much like the memphis belle.

BTW does that minmay DYRL DOLL's pink dress glow in the dark muck like the movie?

  7. can you ask the seller for pics of the body, you know, to see what kind of quality shape its in. cuz.. cuz.. eh.. nevermind.

There is a website for Naked Doll pics...it's called REAL DOLL.

But I really don't know anything about it.....someone just told me about it or did I read it is a service station bathroom

King nor and graham you guys rule:D...

Hahahaha Imagine they offered "real Minmay" in www.realdoll.com:)

wonder how many macross fans would buy that??

  8. I didnt notice before in the proto pics, but this is NOT a Z06. It doesnt have the rear brake ducts and the rims are regular corvette rims.

Good thing Takara/Hasbro's paying attention to detail this time. Dead End was completely wrong in terms of accuracy.

BTW, Solscud007, I thought you were gonna slap on Commemorative stripes on your Tracks.

Yeah i had th idea first haha. Im still waiting for my decals from Monogram. Think I might go with reprolabes. Cause I hate water decals.

funny thing about Bibaltech "dead end" look at the head

if you paint him "yellow" he has more of a resemblance to

    sunstreaker?

    what do you think?

  9. so messin around with rohbys S recasts got me wondering....

we got an official MW paint scheme so why don't we design our own official VF head?

i was thinking, maybe we could have a design contest for the coolest head. nothing to elaborate, nothing to simple, but something thats cool looking and can be made fairly easily.

people could post pics of their sketches/designs and we could have a poll/vote to see which one gets made. i'm not sure of all the details or if its even possible to make something like this or who would be willing to make it and sell the finished product but i thought it would be kind of a cool.

maybe if theres enough interest, we'll be lucky enough to get one of our veteran casters to volunteer to take this project. :)

    any thoughts are welcome.

what did you mean by "new" designed" heads?

I am unclear on this subject.

did you mean and improvement on head that exist for toys

    ie, rediesigned vf-1s head

or a completely new head sort of a "prototype"

    experimental valk head??

  10. I would suggest cutting it with a Dremel tool (or equivalent). Mark out the line and perhaps scribe it first with a scribing tool, then cut away. You'll end up having to add sheet styrene for the lip or bevel as well as quite a bit of putty to smooth it out.

Any further modification is going to require a lot of cutting and your original paint job is going to get ruined in the process, so you're looking at a full paint job when finished. A custom paint job with some 1/55 stickers would probably work OK.

It might be out of proportion and a little ugly, but I think it would be awesome if you could finish this project, even just to prove it can be done. How about a built in heat shield while you're at it! :p

    about suggestion.

did you already cut the valk in half yet??

I sorta screwed up on a mod ages a go, need to find pics of them.

once you cut the thing in half get a piece of hard plastic sheet. That would

be the thing that fold over. the problem is making it stiff when turning it back into avalk.

if so try getting your hand on same hard plastic bits that used

to be where you screw stuff in (removingthem from the valk arms is wise since

they dont acutate except for the swingng part anyway)

find spots to glue the plastic screw in bits you took out.

now here is the tricky part. Use the paperclips to make a "swiwing" joint

bend em and cut them thick staples are good also copper ones not too brittle

My mistake was making cetral plastic as one piece and makinga hole in it

andplacing the head on. If I were to do it again I'd make 2 plastic bits

and leaving a gap to put the head. Possibly mount the head on the back of the

cockpit body with some sort of accuator that can flip upward.

By doing this basically destroying the back and underside near the back so that the bit that holds tha arms

can fit in to rpovide more stranghlth.

It really sux, cant seem to find a place taht sells

hard plastic BIG chunky accuatators even juts knee joints.

    side view like a book

  11. to the dismay of Sebastian......taaaaadaaaa

brings back memories when you looked at your old chunky monkey when it was first got.

christ even the head on that ugly sucker is that of a VF-1J!!

but the colors are that of roy's S!!!

The challenge now is to custom this ugly thing at least make it

    not soo ugly.

    any takers??

  12. The smaller "Deluxe" carded Armada Prime (sometimes call "bendy-prime" because he was more posable than the larger "Super" variant) did not come with Sparkplug, he came with a little silver jet minicon whose name escapes me.  Sparkplug was a yellow car minicon that came with the boxed Super-sized Prime.

Leader One. They're having fun with their GoBots ownership.

gobots, Now that is a series I haven't heard of for a long time?

shame they weren't as posable also.

    (imagine masterpiece CYCLE:))
