Hello everyone.

I've been lurking on here for almost a year and figured i should finally pop in and say hi.

I'm back in the suburbs of Detroit and have been for most of my life. Like a lot of others I got started from Robotech back in the 80s (I used to rush home every day after school to sit in front of the tube for the newest episode) and later found Macross. Just like moustik747 I'm now buying myself all the "toys" my parents couldn't. Most of my collection used to be the matchbox Robotech releases available in the U.S. or models, though I had added a few Yamato pieces. Unfortunately through the years I lost, traded or broke most of what I had. I started up collecting a couple items about the time I joined here and am just now able to start building my collection the way I want. I've done some deals with a couple people on here, and everyone's been great so far. I have a lot to learn yet, so I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and learn more.

It's been years since I did any modeling, but I'm getting ready set a room up for some modeling, casting and of course Macross displays. I'm not married, so no trouble with my toys there. Some of my friends think I'm crazy, but I figure I work 60 hours a week, I may as well blow it on something that makes me happy. I'll get some pics up when I start getting things partway set up.

I'll make it if I can, I'd love to meet some fellow fans. I'll be coming from Michigan. Is this a one day event? Any idea on times?
