That would be fine, but most of my gundams are perfect grade which cost way more than the hasegawa kits. In fact if i did a good job on the Hasegawa's then i'd think about redoing the gundams.

I went through the first dozen pages and didn't see anything, searching didn't help either.

Basically just want to know if anyone has any tips on painting this. looks like i need to do all the black trim, which means i should really respray all the white as well to keep the finish consistent. So if i have to go that far i minus whale do the panel lines too. 

haven't built anything in over a decade besides my gundams, but i haven't had to paint those. so i'm starting with some small cars and stuff to get back into it. also getting some airbrush in the near future to use on this and the hasegawa 1/48 yf-19.

I still love the 1/48s! To me they are still the definitive valks out there! But sadly mine have yellowed!

Yellowing's a common problem with these. Who else has this problem?

I haven't had mine that long so thankfully not yet. but they never get any direct sunlight so hopefully that's helping.

I've just spent the last 5yrs collecting 1/48's so yeah....

don't mind the dinobots in the middle.

i have 5 more not pictured, hikaru vf-1a, both vf-1a TV versions and both Hikaru weathering editions. i think like 2 or 3 more yamato stands too. the only one i'm missing is the roy weathering edition.

I got these a month ago:

never really thought i'd get my hands on this one, but $375CAD shipped was to good to pass up.

even weirder, i just paid $350CAD shipped for a 1/48 VF-1J weathering edition about an hour ago. now i need a VF-1A hikaru, tv vers kakizaki and a weathing edition roy and i think i have one of each yamato 1/48

oh and if anyone was curious, that's an angel bird in the regular armor pack, the urban has the low vis and the woodland has the woodland, lol.

I wouldn't worry, the SP version is a very very nice piece from the Monster to the box itself.

Pretty sure I've purchased Sealed, A and B graded items from Jungle and never had an issue. That said, I'm the type of collector that tends to gravitate towards Sealed or as close to new as possible.

Their service fee is a tad irritating, but as Gakken said it's not too bad and it beats the potential stress of an auction.

I'll second this, although i get em as cheap as i can cause they're coming out of the box. however, i've bought a couple grand worth of stuff off them now. yamato 1/48 valks mostly, but gundam pg's and mg's too.

thanks, mostly bought it for the box, the valk isn't in awesome condition so i stuck in GBP armor. but i have another mint angel bird that showed up by accident without the box (shipping error).

hmmm, this might have been good to read 2 days ago. i just bought a sealed Chogokin VB-6 Konig Monster (SP Version) for $339CAD shipped from japan.

my 1/48 collection got a bit bigger since the last pic i posted here, lol.

clockwise starting at super miria, there's an angel bird in the blue GBP, low vis 2 in the urban GBP, a woodlands in the woodland GBP, hikaru vf-1s with super strike, very back is a Super Stealth on a yamato stand, in front of him is the hikaru super vf-1j, then vf-1a max, roy, angel bird, mass prod. and a kakizaki with super strike.

still hunting for a super max for less than $300, lol. and a couple others to round it out. that's why i went 1/48, there's a limit.

oh yeah and way in the back is a yamato 1/60 yf-19 and i have a Chogokin VB-6 Konig Monster (SP Version) on the way from japan. there's also a 1/60 30th anni crazy paint scheme vf-1 under my bed still in the box.

Just started collecting a little over a year ago, these are my 1/48's (minus the lowvis urban GBP that's on the way)

i also have a 1/60 YF-19 Yamato not pictured.

also built 3 MG, 1 PG & 1 no-grade 1/60 gundams and i just a got a 1/60 00Raiser gundam

You got some quality birds there Davzilla. I started my collection off with a 1/48 Roy and after that it was all down hill.

even still that's like a grand on the shelf if you include shipping.

I started collecting these earlier this year. didn't even know about them and robotech/macross was my favourite show when i was a kid.
