I want to keep my 25A naked but ordered the packs anyway. Better to get them now than regret it later

I was wondering how stable the stand for the VF-25S Armored Messiah really is. I'm planning to display it on a high spot and fear that the Valkyrie might slip from its stand and fall down and shatter into thousand pieces. The stand seems to be pegged in really well but better save than sorry I guess.

I've got armor parts on my 25F in fighter mode on the stand. The main armature does wobble a little side to side when I walk by the shelf, but I'm not worried that it's going to fall. The normal fighter stand part kinda pegs into the front of the fighter in two places on each side of the fuselage. The armor comes with a different adapter that pegs into the fighter in three places. So, I'm not worried at all that the fighter is not attached to the stand. The other modes should be equally stable, the battroid especially so with the center of gravity lower due to the heavy legs and armor.

Now that I have it, one of the things I really like about the VF-27 is that the leg and arm armor parts are really unobtrusive. It doesn't look weird if you have just those pieces without the booster on it's back. The booster itself is also very organic looking, somewhat like a manta ray. Even thought it's obviously related to the VF-25, these organic elements make it very different from its nemesis.

Since it's something that I'd definitely pretty much keep in fighter mode, I'd pay maybe $50 for a V1, and then maybe a 50% markup on it being something other than a basic VF-1. So, $75 sounds pretty fair.

yay! mine is out of customs! probably won't arrive till monday. This is the first time I've used nin nin and I do not like how they switched to ems when I asked for fed ex. ems was more expensive but seems to take longer and sometimes I like the option of holding stiff at the nearest fedex store for pick up

OK, going by the instructions---they removed the built-in foldable gunpod holder, and replaced it with a separate clear green piece that has nowhere to go in most modes? That seems incredibly "backwards".

Also, the page of instructions after the stand, but before the FAST packs---what's that all about? Tips for going back to fighter mode?

It looks like the extra clip is just an option and that you can still attach the gun directly to the arms like the VF-25. Can anyone who has it comment on the difference between using the clip and not?

Well, one of my HLJ vf-25F's just went to "being packed" so I guess we're ok.

Mine was an August restock order, and I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet. If nothing has changed by tomorrow morning, I'm going to send them a note asking if they actually have them. It's already Monday morning over there now. If they did make a mistake, I would hope they put us all back in the queue for the actual August restock so that we will get them.

I took a few months off from Macross to build Star Trek props, and I jump back in at the right time. Secured the preorder on HLJ the other day and got the ready to ship notice today The only other Frontiers I have are the newer YF-29 Alto and a V1 RVF-25, which I'm actually pretty happy with cause I got it on EBAY for around $80 and it was unopened. I just leave him in jet mode.

Got my notice from HLJ today. I've been looking forward to these and I'm glad they're the strike packs.

All the pictures and the relatively cheap FAST packs (compared to the original) makes me wish I'd pulled the trigger and bought this from HLJ a couple of days ago.
