  1. Pm sent, I'm interested in helping keep them around. I've got the casting experience to maintain the kit quality, just not a ton of flex with the wallet atm. I'm open to exploring payments plans, group funding, soul of my first born, organ donations, etc.

  2. Does anyone have any recommendations for what I might be able to use for replacement hands on one of the Alphas from the Robotech Master piece toys?

Both hands split from dry rot where the metal pin runs through the fingers. Was wondering if there's any gundam hands or poly type kits that'd offer a good replacement option.

(Leg is also jammed after a single transformation, I'll never buy anything from that line again).

  3. I started working on a new 3D model, when it's completed I'll have it printed simular to the macross destroids I previously did. I'm planning on it being 1/48th scale so it'll be around 36mm, at that size it also won't look too out of place alongside other 30mm models andmore importantly it'll match the scale of the MPC stuff and my old leader-1 knockoff kit.

I am working strictly from one of the mospeada art books and don't have any of the MPC or CMS toys which would be very nice to work from, but sadly I am poor. :( If anyone can post shots straight on from the front side and rear it would be very helpful. Angled shots would also help as i want this to look as accurate as possible. The animation art is nice but very hard to determine angles from at times.

These are still very rough shots so there's a lot of work still needed on the legs.

  4. If it helps anyone to part with a copy, I'm not particular about recasts. I'm looking to make some copies myself so I can build a large diorama. Even if I can pay somebody to rent out their model to use temporaily I'd be happy with that. :) (I can also toss a couple copies your way for letting me use the original model)

I'd really love to get ahold of the Ghose royal commander model from this years wonderfest.

  5. I am looking for any of the invid resin models they can be be stuff from wonderfest, recasts, or garage kits. Don't care as long as they look good :)

Looking for troopers & shock troopers in 1/48 scale (1/72 scale if available?)

    Royal command invid

    Pincer command unit

Scout & trooper space booster unit

Or anything I missed in that list, if you have invid that's not the old matchbox toys I want it.

    Thansk :D

  6. I recall seeing a garage kit for the various invid somewhere but no idea who made them or what scale they are, does anyone have any idea who made them or if you might have any for sale?

Also does anyone know if there were any garage kits for zentraedi foot soldiers in 1/200 scale?

  7. It'll be a while until it's complete but I have the officer's pod underway. I also found another 3d artist who's looking to help kick in on the zentraedi foot soldiers. So hopefully I'll have another round of minis to show off in the next month or so.

Also if anyone is interested here's the stuff i was working on for a table top style fan-game.

  8. I think this is probably the first complete miniature I've painted in two years. I did a couple 1/200 scale model kits since then, but not actual minis.

I didn't go for any shading or washes. I'd initally tried a wash but it made the white look really dirty and I figured in solid colors it'd look a bit more like the animated series.

  9. The $15 cost would be per model which is about standrad for most pewter miniature figures. (Battletech models are the closest comparsion)

The only way to get the model cost down would be to make them with plastic injection which has a huge start up cost.
