I think this is a really great set!! I did notice that this set actually says Takatoku Toy on the bottom right side of the box.

The other MAX and Miriya set doesn't. Is this typical for custom sets or items to actually have the brand names on the box???

Well I just took some updated pics of my Robotech collection. I know that they are not displayed like a lot of people have been displaying them but I can't get myself to take this stuff out of the boxes and display it in cases. Although I have to say everybody posting thier collections on this form has done an outstanding job on their displayes.

After I finished taking new pic of my collection I realized I had forgotten a box but oh well. Maybe next time I feel like getting all these out of the boxes again!

I also sent you both a scan of the Instruction booklet showing were the decals go on the SDF-1.

I'm also looking for the sticker sheet for the large 1985 Matchbox SDF-1. (The big transformable one, you know, which is like 15 inches long in cruiser mode).

Would also accept a good-quality scan of the stickers.

Would even accept a good-quality scan of the stickers for the small 1985 Matchbox diecast non-transforming SDF-1 (cause I can up-size them to print at about the right size/quality to match those needed for the larger Matchbox SDF-1 transformer).

I've also heard that about half to 3/4's of the stickers can be found in a smaller version for the 1985 diecast SDF-1 (which is like 7 inch tall and fixed to battloid form. I think its true, I used ot have the Matchbox SDF-1 diecast as a kid, and I think I still got it packed away somewhere - just not sure where cause I moved last summer.

Oddly, I seem to recall someone saying that the larger transforming Matchbox SDF-1 has TWO sticker sheets. Don't remember reading if that's cause there were more stickers or just that since the stickers are like double-sized that it took too sheets to get them all.

Anyways, if you have scans, or know a link to someone who sells reproduction stickers, email me.

Thanks for all the feedback!! I think I am going to get the cases from Ikea and take some of the items out of the boxes to display. I didn't want to do this because I wanted to keep everything as mint as possible but I really like how alot of you guys have displayed them in cases.

I really like how alot of people display there collections in display cases. I would like to display some of my collection in display cases as well and am wonder were some of you guys got your cases? Any suggestions???

I totally agree!! I would love to see and purchase the 1/55 VF-1D. I have seen a custom one that I thought was awesome and to be able to actually purchase one from Bandai would be fantastic!

I have not displayed any of these items yet. Everything has been in boxes in my storage/garage. I am thinking of buying some display cases like some of the other members of this site have done to display them but not sure yet. I am afraid to take them out of their boxes.

I forgot to add my Bandai reissue Valkyries.

I moved several months back and had to empty out my storage unit and when I finally got home and went through all my old boxes I came across my old collection of Macross/Robotech toys. I have not yet taken pics of my Takatoku/Bandai toys yet but will post them as well once I have more time to get it all out to take the pics!

I realize this is all Matchbox/Harmony Gold items but hope you guys can appriciate these pics.
