Hi folks, i know I'm new to the community and will probably take some flak but after much hand wringing I have decided to sell my unit and buy a well deserved anniversary gift for my wife. The bird has only been transformed five times, twice to battroid and back to fighter mode which is the display mode of my choice in a glass cupboard. I live in a smoke free home as well and the stand which came with it is not touched in its packaging. The joints in battroid mode are not loose as well, and I have placed the pilot into the cockpit.
Asking price is $400, not including shipping. The bird is now back in the box but i will provide pictures upon request. Now I do have one condition - I will prioritise Australian buyers over international as I wish to minimise any shipping. I can also do COD or pickup over in Melbourne CBD. Will let this simmer for a bit over here before I put it on ebay.
If I can find the poster that came with it(not used) I will throw it in as well.
Edit: I accept paypal but bank transfer or cash would be preferred to avoid fees for both sides.

Thank you for this thread, it's been a fantastic resource for a newbie like me.

Actually, I've heard that the SV-51, outside of the ivanov, was truly the first macross toy you could buy from them without fear of it crumbling away in your hands right out of the box.
Of course, Yamato has come a long way since then though, with toys you can actually manhandle now...
I agree, my SV-51 CF has held up so far while my VF-0A requires constant maintenance(i.e. superglue). The Phoenix is still one of my favorite jets though.

I just hope they produce more macross goodness and further flesh out the universe.
Offtopic: Is there a thread here for new members? I can't believe I just found out about this forum, despite having collected macross related toys for a decade now. Cheers.
