Picked up some books this weekend at the Mandrake book store in Akiba this weekend, I have been looking for some of this stuff for some time also got some great Macross stuff Huge Macross F Ranka and Sheryl tapestry and a Ozma Custom Messiah 1/100th scale variable toy.

Here are the books (With a few others I already had)

The new material is the two Sheryl Visual Collections, Macross Perfect Memory, the three This is Animation Macross books, and the three Macross F Official Creator's Magazines. All other stuff is stuff I have picked up over the couple years I have been here. Like the JUN2011 CUT Magazine with Ranks and Sheryl on the cover.

This is a Necropost from hell but I picked this book up in Akihabara yesterday and I can for sure tell you it was printed in 1983 and the date on the top cover is 58-10-10. Under the dust cover is a cool UN Spacy SDF-1 Macross logo. I stumbled upon a ton of great old school Macross books and Mikimoto books yesterday. I am hoping to pick them up soon.

A Sheryl Nome picture collection is out now in Japan as well as Macross Frontier memories 2059 and Macross Frontier Tiangle art book for the upcoming movie.

Just finished watching this and it was not as bad as many of the reviews I had read in the past few weeks made it out to be. I liked most of the deviations from the T.V. series in it and am really looking forward to trying to catch movie #2 in Tokyo when it comes out in Feb.

The color picture on the right side of the cover that has Sheryl, Alto, and Ranka is the poster that came in the book. I think it is a cover of a manga that either has come out or is going to be coming out here in Japan called Macross Frontier Memories.

The new Macross anthology issue #6 is out here in Japan. Pretty cool came with a Frontier poster and what I assume is an alternate dust cover for Macross The First #2 manga.
