  1. Quite a few possabilities there. With all the best and brightest (I assume) heading out on the colonization fleets the people left behind could be rather bitter - resentful of all the resources being plowed into colonization rather then rebuilding.
  2. I just wanna see Megan Fox with those dashing blue eyes and skimpy jeans again!! hoorai!!

  3. I saw some of the Macross Frontier thread on You Tube.It looks impressive. However Mikimoto did the character designs right I don't like flow as much of the original hand drawn. You can really see his unique style. But the story and mech designs are good.I loved the DYRL ending. Is this one where we find out what happens to Hikaru,Misa, and Minmay and the Megaroad.
Scratch the Mikimoto comment.I really wished he returned.I love his work.

  6. Great points all-around, Poonman!

For those of you with fast connections and a curiosity about the film and haven't seen it yet in its limited release, IGN has a preview of the first 24 or so minutes of the movie.

If that doesn't work because of the age verification they want you to do before hand, here's a link to the selection page:

Robert Downey Jr. as a druggie is purely inspired. He brings an intelligent, introspective analysis that while full understanding the flaws of the lifestyle, is not entirely repentent or a crusader against it now. That makes him nearly perfect for the story and his James Barris feels very right by the book in the little I've seen.

I agree with Downey being a cast a drug addict.Let's face it he lived it.I saw it and I normally don't like Keanu Reeves but I felt he did a good job.The rotoscoping was impressive and I felt this film was far better than Waking Life which I thought was pretentious and kind of made me have reservations about seeing it.Especially on big screen it's great.I definitely thought it did more justice to PKD than Minority in which I thought sucked like hell.I feel we more adult animated films in America along these lines. And for Linklater it was pretty good.I agee he didn't make anything worth while for a long time except movies making Ethan Hawke seem more of a voice of Generation than he really is.
