^^Yes, there's the signature scene with the two birds flying next to each other around sunset time.

But I was focusing more on the signature moves/techniques the two pilots were known to do in fighter mode. For Isamu, one of 'em was that upside down, almost-kissing-the-ground move he likes to pull off. For Guld, it's usually the high speed configuration that he typically fancies.

I really wasn't trying to copy any particular or specific scene from M+. About the closest scene the above pose would approximate would be the last scene during the birds' test flight/competition montage. Only difference is Guld was just in regular flight mode.

In any case, here's the pose I finally settled with (I typically display most of my mechs in battroid mode). Enjoy!

Here is my 25th aniverary valk, which i just painted the fps, however, it is not complete, and still needs more paint and detailing. But you get the general idea of this nice bird.

Can we get some more shots of those Boobys....Booby Ducks that is?

I've yet to transform the new 1/60, but can vouch for its solidness in fighter mode. Here pics to prove it. My 6 year old son and I were watching DYRL last night. Since the toy was sitting on my desk he asked if he could "touch" it. I was actually comfortable enough for him to "play" with it. He ran and swooshed around the room without a single piece of the plane coming apart. I was only nervous about him falling and breaking something, but it was worth it to vicariously re-live my childhood while watching him play with one of the coolest Valks made while enjoying the movie.

DAMN BROTHER! That is one sweeeeeeeet setup! The only thing better about your setup is how your son can't seem to remove his eyes from DYRL. AWESOME!

I just can not get past the green fast packs.

I almost bought this a few weeks ago and did not do so because of the green parts.

If it was grey or gray or blueish gray or even blue I would have gotten it but green?!?!?!

I actually do like the box art a bit too. Not the best but good.

This seems like a good a place as any. . .

I just sent an email to Shawn requesting that I be "retired" from Admin duties. I've got too much on my plate. And I feel that those who are "running this show" should be passionate about Macross as well as about this community. And, honestly, I'm just not passionate about either anymore. That's no knock on Macross! I will always love my VF-1 Valkyries and my DYRL/SDF Macross roots! I've just gotten older and have found my interests drifting.

Congrats to haterist for surviving my reign of terror!

And though I'm sure a member or two who have felt the staff's ire over the past two years will spatter their monitors with their beverages at my saying this: Compared to how things used to be, I'd argue that MW's staff put a "kinder, gentler" face towards its users over the last couple years. And more than any fix I applied or any skin I created, I'm happy that I played a part in that at least. And I hope the trend continues.

So, anyways, those who know me will realize that I could go on and on here as I usually do. So give me some credit for cutting this short!
