hellohikaru Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 (edited) Just wondering.. Edited February 26, 2005 by hellohikaru
hellohikaru Posted February 26, 2005 Author Posted February 26, 2005 Notice how the VT-1's tail is just like the other VF-1s unlike the Hasegawa kit.
ewilen Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Tail like the Bandai/Taka /172 Where did you find them? (I've seen some of them before, just not sure where.) The one quoted above has some Japanese text showing through from the scan. Someone who's good enough with Japanese might be able to flip it, play around with the contrast/brightness/levels, and read some of the text.
cobywan Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 These and that awesome cutaway of the fighter are from Model Graphix issue 158 January 1998. It is a must have for seriouse Valkaholics.
hellohikaru Posted February 26, 2005 Author Posted February 26, 2005 Where did you find them? (I've seen some of them before, just not sure where.) Got them some time ago in that Rowboat Technical Files.
hellohikaru Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 Model interpretation of the XVF-1 http://www.geocities.jp/zasshoku_mokei/chara-tex/XVF-1.html
Skull Leader Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 some of those changes (IE the block 5 changes) are representitive of the design alterations that were made for the VF-1 as seen in DYRL (so in effect, those were design changes made for the VF-1X Plus Valkyries), although the prototype stuff is new to me. Hikaru, I was under the understanding that the VT-1 was "supposed" to have the same kind of tails as a standard VF-1 (the brief moments you get to see it in the movie it looks normal), I can only assume they were altered for model and toy functionality.
