Smiley424 Posted March 14, 2005 Share Posted March 14, 2005 i never even heard of this anime until like 2 days ago when one of my friends busted out some DVD's. first thing to come to mind was "where the heck do they sell these?". so i guess that means theres nothing official then? nobody has a license or anything? i hope some company(a good one) picks it up. Pioneer/Geneon is slowly releasing the series on DVD. Volume 1 with first 4 episodes is out now, volume 2 is due out at the end of March. But yes, when I first read about the series, the mix of SAMURAI and HIP HOP and that the makers of COWBOY BEBOP did it, got my attention. I was lucky to pick up the set of 1st dvd and soundtrack at best buy awhile back. i can't wait for vol 2 to come out March 29th. Last week I downloaded all of them up to the end in one go, but I have only seen up to 20 or 21 so far... It's gotten really interesting, still trying to figure out who that blind girl is... Renato Posted May 19, 2005 Share Posted May 19, 2005 Just saw the end... Good stuff. OK, if I have to pick between a Samurai Champloo movie Or a Macross Zero movie, it's gotta be Samploo every time. Hopefully we'll get more, like the Cowboy Bebop movie, after a while. However, Watanabe says he's doing directing a live-action thing next.
