Graham
That's unlucky. You have my sympathy. Graham :
drifand
That's real tough luck, dude! But to satisfy your curiosity, the Limited Weathered Version is the same paint job underneath as the Normal Version, but with dark acrylic paint applied all over for weathering. It looks good, but if you handle it often, the weathering might rub off in places. For mine, I actually took some thinner and cotton swabs to clean off the excessive weathering, leaving only selected areas like the skull and mechanical crevices untouched. I also got a good look at the TRU Steel Grey version... not good. It's actually a DARK metallic grey paint job. I'd really hoped for a version with shiny or brushed steel finish, but no dice. :-/
Ghadrack
I picked one of these up a month ago, I was extremely pleased with it. It is not the most articulated toy in the world, but it is fantastic as a display piece, and if you think about the T-800 endoskeletons in the movies, they weren't exactly doing backflips or anything. Anyhow, I think it is the best Terminator collector's toy I have seen around so I had to snatch one up. Now if they would just make a T-1000 like a transparent Stretch Armstrong filled with Mercury
EXO
Alright, I know this is kinda old buy I just got one today. I broke and just had to have one of these things. first impression(remember I'm a pessimist), I don't like the color. I got the normal one and the glossy grey look is just all wrong. I'm really curious as to what the other ones look like now, but I don't think I'm going to break down and buy 2 more just to find out.so I take it out and put it in a pose, stood it up all by itself, start to watch some TV and PLOP! damn thing falls 1 and a half feet and breaks it's leg to hip joint!! OMG! "POS" i thought. so I spent the better part of this very hot afternoon trying to fix it w/o any luck. so now instead of it being proudly displayed in my disply case, it now sit on my room floor waiting for tomorrow when I can go to the hobby shop to buy some supplies to try again. SOB I hate when my toys break. especially when gravity causes it and not my own hands. What??? You broke it? What kind of animal are you!?! wolfx
I have the cheapo, but accurate Mc Farlane T-800. I like it very much though. Is this one any better?
GobotFool
I have the cheapo, but accurate Mc Farlane T-800. I like it very much though. Is this one any better? Well lets see, its a foot tall, does not have paddle feet, 90% diecast, everything that should move does move. So yeah its alot better than the McFarlane one. Eternal_D
tried again to fix it today. was really psyched cuz I thought it'd be fool proof, me being the fool. it would involved a plastic rod to reinforce the part, metal pins to fix it in place, and crazy glue. anyway, after spending about 2 hours on it, thing seemed real sturdy and I put it all together again. rotated front and back...no problem...sweet...put the attachable stand on so I'd have no more mishaps. then I started posing it, and I didn't like it just with it's leg straight up and down, so I bent it outward and of course...*SNAP* I started cursing up a storm that my mom didn't appreciate. so I had to think of a new solution, and I don't think too well when I'm pissed off. now I'm thinking, metal rod, preferably square or something. remove everything that I added last time, and J&B Weld it all together...if that doesn't work, I'm going to go in the market again and buy another one. Drifand, does the place you bought them from still carry it? if so can you find out how much just in case? thanks.

Nah, there have been plenty of high priced toys compleatly not worth the asking price. Look at the MPC VF-1. For that money I'd rather buy 7 or banprestos, sure banprestos are cheap crap but they don't pretend to be anything else. The MPC on the other hand is expensive crap pretending to be a quality product at an asking price of 80 dollars.
