s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
Wow this thing is awesome! A considerable amount of die-cast and in 1/6 scale. Pick one up you wont regret it.

drifand
Here's my own little odyssey in finding the right version of the Miracle House Terminator. Complete with filthy toy surgery pix! It's nice and hefty, a spectacular display piece with some articulation but not a good action-figure 'toy'. Everyone who's seen it on my shelf keeps asking me "Do the eyes light up?" I say "No..." and they go "Awwww..." :-) One pic of my post-op T-800: Edited February 11, 2004 by drifand
Graham
Doesn't look like it can stand unsupported. Graham

JsARCLIGHT
So what weapons does it come with? I noticed on Sithlord's shelves that the endoskeleton has both the future gun and the AR-180A (both from the movies)... does it by chance also come with the SPAS 12, 45 Longslide and others? drifand
NORMAL VERSION: Clean, semi-gloss metallic finish. Includes Plasma Rifle. LIMITED WEATHERING VERSION: Dirtied up with a liberal acrylic wash over the normal version. Includes AR-18 rifle. (As used in the first movie, I believe...) TOYS 'R' US LIMITED STEEL COLOR VERSION: Clean, semi-gloss dark metallic grey finish. Includes Plasma Rifle. All versions include a support with a spring loaded stem for adapting to slight changes in the height of the figure's pose. Requires a screwdriver to release clamps for attaching to the spine of the figure. The figure is almost entirely metal, so I think the provision of the stand is a thoughtful act aimed at those who want to be more careful... The TRU version costs more but I really wonder why it's worth the premium. If it had a chrome-steel finish it would've been killer. The dark metallic grey makes no sense. usagiz
I was tempted to get one, but the price was around $200, where did you pick yours up? Also how many pts of articulation does it have, and what problems have you had with yours? Any complaints?

s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
Drifand Yup! My Dougram collection is well cherished. Although I've yet to get my hands on several Orguss toys that you seem to have that I wish I had. Also never knew they had a TRU version of the T-800 and I second that to the all chromed out endo, that would be awesome! Pat S That's right Aoshima. Anyways I posted my terminator collection at the Mcfarlane forums and not a second sooner they dropped my thread from their forums! Punk ass Beyotches! Punk ass Beyotches! whoa, McF forums acting like Robotech.com?? how awful. seeing how so many people get away with so many things on those boards, I didn't think anybody really moderated them. doesn't even make any sense for them to do that since their MM endo has been out for like over 6 months now and are sold out everywhere. s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
It's more than likely that Mcfarlane toys is making an 18" version of the endos. JTLYK, you have to be careful handling around the calf legs of the Aoshima's endos, The pistons or cylindrical shock absorbers can be bent if applied with enough pressure. But it can be bent back into place without no prob. Also the stand is necessary if you want your toy investment to be prestine, the endo can stand on its own without the figure stand. The endo as far as I've counted has probably more than 32 points of articulation. The spine bends to a limited degree; the hip joints can do the an A stance; the jaw moves; the waist swivel; feet has joints. I think it is far more dynamic than the Mcfarlane 6" endos but we'll have to wait & see for the 18" Mcfarlane endo to make a better quality comparison. IMO my favorite is the standard version which is the endo with the plasma rifle but the weathered version is also nice because it gives the figure more a definitive look and the panel lines are more pronounced. It's amazing how much diecast content is in this figure even the skull is diecast. If this was released sooner this would have been a close contender for the TOTY award that Toybox has awarded to 20th annv Prime.

drifand
If this was released sooner this would have been a close contender for the TOTY award that Toybox has awarded to 20th annv Prime. No, it wouldn't. Because even though it's made by Aoshima/Miracle House, the toy has to be based on a Japanese show or character to qualify for the nomination. :-) Back to the figure... I really wish the designers had figured out a better way to position the hind cylinders for the upper leg. Those mega tubes are blocking the legs from achieving a better forward positon. Push the legs forward one stop and BANG, the cylinder hits the hip assembly. That, I feel, is the biggest flaw with this otherwise excellent figure. s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
Hmmm yeah I suppose so, although it would've had my vote over the prime. agree with you about the hip & leg assembly but what really bothers me is the cords that protrude out from the chest to the top of the shoulders. I'm wondering where should the cords be housed or attached within the chest cavity; it just sits there without any fictious purpose. Also the cords get in the way when the shoulders are racheted forward, you have to be really careful not to damage this part because of a protrusion of the main body's shoulder metal frame gets in the way and could make a dent on the cord. The cord is basically made of a long tightly compressed spring.

It may not be as 'accurate', but it sure is a lot safer. I'm still considering putting together a small wire 'hook' to lock the ends of both springs down securely in the central part of the chest cavity. Yup, very sure about the part about a Japanese show/character. Even US-only release Gundam MSiAs don't qualify. Remember, the 2003 TOTY was NOT MP Optimus Prime; it was won by MP Convoy. Silly distinctions? Maybe to some, but the site and award were made for Japanese toy collectors, after all! :-)
Pat S
I just purchased the weathered version, thanks for the pics. Would have rather gotten the plasma rifle, but the weathered version looks a lot better to me.
Pat S
Got my Endoskeleton! Very cool toy! Lots of articulation. I was missing one piece, one of the 2 struts on the back of the head. Pat S
Nah, I got it from overseas, and I don't even want to hassle it. It's a small part, I think I can make something to fit that spot, and no one will ever notice.

Eternal_D
Alright, I know this is kinda old buy I just got one today. I broke and just had to have one of these things. first impression(remember I'm a pessimist), I don't like the color. I got the normal one and the glossy grey look is just all wrong. I'm really curious as to what the other ones look like now, but I don't think I'm going to break down and buy 2 more just to find out. so I take it out and put it in a pose, stood it up all by itself, start to watch some TV and PLOP! damn thing falls 1 and a half feet and breaks it's leg to hip joint!! OMG! "POS" i thought. so I spent the better part of this very hot afternoon trying to fix it w/o any luck. so now instead of it being proudly displayed in my disply case, it now sit on my room floor waiting for tomorrow when I can go to the hobby shop to buy some supplies to try again. SOB I hate when my toys break. especially when gravity causes it and not my own hands.
