Guess Bandai's aping Takara's MissingLink line by finally providing thigh-swivels on the 1/55 after 45+ years!

Thigh swivels are nice, but can't help thinking they could have just added something to make a basic A-stance. Maybe in the 60th Anniversary ver? lol..

Most likely Toynami will bootleg the classic 1/55 Takatoku box, but place in their "legendary" MPC and ladder instead...

Yup, a missed opportunity indeed. More improvements could have been done.

Bandai is just pandering hard for nostalgia sales on this one.

Well, at least they will know I am down to get one.

Also the reissue I had was sorta floppy; hoping for better clicky joints on this one.

Hopefully they reissue some old ones and give us a 1D? They made the prototype heads last time so we know they were thinking about it.

Interesting, last year I wishing for Bandai to reissue DYRL VF-1S Hicki but now we are getting this.

But hope this means Bandai'd is open to a 45th DYRL 1/55 VT-1, VE-1, or VF-1S Strike Valkyrie...

Very nice to see this release, I always wanted a chunky monkey. Since I plan to own only one I would like it to be a VF-1S Super Strike one (Hikaru or Max).

I wish they had updated the feet to be like the HCM so they could angle front and back, that would have really worked nice with the leg twist in Gerwalk. The ability to splay the legs out and articulated hands would have been a bonus... And a ball jointed head... And... Okay, maybe I should stick to the DX

I would of have been happy with just a reissue and come out with a new DX VF-1 variant.
