I didn’t see a topic for this toy line yet, so after very recently finding out it exists I picked up this little skeleton blank since I like skeletons and it was cheap4215AA50-D8ED-44B1-84D9-CF324DC1E8C5.jpeg.b1a86e67fdc3a235015fb0854acc5ad8.jpegthen since it was a fun little 1/18 figure I decided to pick up some options for it and do a little dress up7A40B17C-3445-41EE-9949-06E0F893A208.jpeg.9361288d5db3fff16dc70a450dc70acd.jpegit does have a bit of a struggle since the little guy is so thin and I think I just overloaded him making a super childish cross between a dark mage and grim reaper, but I still had fun doing it. I then went on the bbts site and checked out what else they had and I saw some knights, but most of the guys were sold out or were on preorder or sold in a pack with others I didn’t care to buy.

I really do like medieval fantasy stuff as well as the usual sci-fi mecha stuff, so I ordered the female Knight of Accord. No relation to the car, but a very fun little figure and totally worth the $25 bucks. Not quite the prettiest face though, but she had 2 different helmets included, extra hands a pole weapon that can be converted into a halberd or a spear, a sword and sheath and a shield.

the joints are surprisingly tough and for the size can do just about anything. The tiny writs can even tilt up or down to make cool stabby poses. E5189326-84FA-4B81-BF4F-1BB4E8344E70.jpeg.1d51830848e6c0db29042112891afa54.jpegEFD5805E-8988-4425-A9BC-C1D3582545E5.jpeg.e239f0f146867eef9ad6a135cc7790ba.jpegB2393758-B5C9-48FF-AD98-6665BFB51788.jpeg.af2d06c37e37edf0e04f42157777cf42.jpeg0E7CEBAA-5401-437A-AE35-9CCECD31DB6C.jpeg.0e2815b153e0acba92662757028fa017.jpeg9A462EDC-F55B-4692-AC3F-6C646B5FE02B.jpeg.eff923f1e4c222a225943593748c28f4.jpeg3CE14509-04AF-4AB3-82E2-3B10FD07FA72.jpeg.6983a05449b608e4eade5bc54985f09a.jpegEB6E4262-13A0-4E69-BAF0-BDDD624D548F.jpeg.c39ff095a43c3818f7592c3ed26cc143.jpegthe armor is mostly a very soft flexible rubber, so it doesn’t get in the way and surprisingly for a female figure is non sexualized other than her super bodacious bootyC81410E4-5661-41EB-8CBD-FBCA900055BB.jpeg.1fd0e4e56e7b6fba4c1e90812d8bc816.jpegthere’s also connection point for future attachments and a lot of the armor can be removed for customization

Just got a horse to go with the Knight and it’s very articulated as well, but when adding armor and a figure on top of it the joints lose stability. It does have a bit of a wonky stand and the armor is a bit tough to figure out since there are no instructions with this line. Had to check YouTube and found out a blow dryer works for stretching the belt around the waist that seems to be too small. Once it’s stretched and dipped in cold water it holds the new shape. Overall the horse isn’t necessary and a bit pricey after the armor is added, but it looks cool

Those are cool figures.  Boss Fight makes good stuff.  How much was the skeleton?

I think it was $12 for the basic blank and like $10 or so for the option sets. Since the Knight was already set up with armor and stuff she was about $25. These are very small figures with the emphasis on customization and being able to pose really well. Bbts has some exclusives like a red male Knight coming up and if I’m not mistaken the red skeleton is also exclusive. I can’t remember if it was a red skeleton or one of the other colors though.

I really just discovered this line and for the size and detail, and the fact that you can customize them, they’re worth the price. I’d say if you’re interested at all check them out and you probably won’t regret it

1/12 scale figures too now.

I saw these. They look like similar stuff to the smaller scale line, but more detailed versions. I hope they do the knights as well.
I recently found a male version of the knight of accord for a decent price. The e-bay prices were crazy for an almost unknown toy. There were some improvements to the figures since they put that figure out. The female version has a swivel at the thighs as well as an extra swivel at the feet. Still a great little figure. I’ll get some comparison pictures soon.

Picked up a few items last week 5BE29B2D-032C-4EAB-B3D5-D5855AD31645.jpeg.cfa856db21b1adaf48762d3a83f24a1a.jpegred skeleton blank then added too many parts again, I’ll probably take off the shoulder spikes, but for now it makes me laugh A630D58D-C1DC-4F1F-A253-8277190C788F.jpeg.5c79af6ced36a6c4b7bdc94ec6c69313.jpeg0ABE9288-BBB8-4E43-8A71-A6E91AFDCB0E.jpeg.c0abc2a6dc50e9d562879772cc0a4037.jpegA02E09A1-4615-40FD-B4D5-AF3DF59E80E5.jpeg.d314ba89b4feac1353bdeeec1535f3a2.jpeg02F87B6C-D9F7-4212-9831-EB12C524109F.jpeg.1d023483ebd179d4155c3768db0ac326.jpegFEE89EFB-A38E-4B20-8942-9B399330EE73.jpeg.6c623e8ac2de1a158d9d2b1828dd2ce4.jpeg63501F4D-0539-44D7-BFE8-0EC280FAFB33.jpeg.4837309d50eaeb297d87d90e80ee487b.jpegThere are other face plates to the helmet, but the connection holes are so thin that I’m afraid to break them.

The crusader helmet had two ornaments included in the jousting pack, but I noticed the spike was the exact same piece as the one in the horse armor kit, so I took the plume from the horse kit to add to the knight they have the same connection peg, so it was absolutely no issueE39B7C2F-1331-4E19-AE60-868B3987A2A0.jpeg.c177a6563ec9530facdc5ffc245f2630.jpegE5A40722-BA7D-410C-A356-66E52E0F0809.jpeg.bfd2ef2f7521412461c727c002e97887.jpegE09F643B-5FD9-42F1-8DD0-C825DCC22518.jpeg.a4f231527870e527f5db321bf38e2897.jpeg99730D4C-62A1-43F7-8AFE-77A526204784.jpeg.2512f5dcedd3362a1dd46d5b566146eb.jpeg873F95B8-0C21-40CA-9667-3F1C97453198.jpeg.b6455e671e9b629558ef4158a983dfea.jpegCCD80BD7-E208-4D26-A42B-4B74CEC555BF.jpeg.a9316417b3813cfca092b57cc73d265b.jpeg1B432811-8BA9-429E-A886-3A7FE5C3C9C7.jpeg.d41e3d987685a2bdb6da4cfd418345b8.jpegside by side with the female knight. The armor is attached to the side of the leg on the male and the shoulder armor plugs into holes on top of the shoulder. Upper body articulation is the same, but the female has a thigh swivel and an extra swivel at the feet that the male knight doesn’t have. The female knight is a two year newer or so figure, so that may be improvements on the newest figures going forward.

also picked up the dragon acolyte figure. Gave him a knife from some spare parts out of the barbarian set371FDA32-1321-428D-823F-3F7E3C5869BB.jpeg.b5137fc104b58fce954456f1b0b7e237.jpeg1ECB7AAD-CB40-4E05-BD82-C35F6E8E7A98.jpeg.44ff11edeb77162da3441c44f01a501a.jpeg35288FC3-C64B-4EC1-9CB3-BFC36C2DA057.jpeg.48814c33195b08b9db692b12987d167c.jpeg

Seems they’ve updated the male knight and well as the evil counterpart. I was late to the game on these. Didn’t realize they’d been around for almost a decade, but there’s gonna be a ten year anniversary edition of both the knight of accord and knight of asperity with the better articulated joints in the legs as well as newer attachments for the armor more similar to how they did the recent female knights. I actually don’t have the original knight of asperity since most sellers want well over a $100.00 for it, so I went and preordered both of these little guys

Link to Website? Are they doing toons from a specific series? I love (love!!) to see a halfling in rogue-ish attire?

They have them on most toy stores like bbts or entertainment earth. These particular ones are original characters. Boss Fight Studios is the maker and they do have actual licenses for things like Popeye and The Phantom, Flash Gordon and a few others. But these Vitruvian Hacks figures are there own thing even if they are a bit derivative of other fantasy franchises. They’ve mostly been small 1/18 figures, but are getting into 1/12 sized ones as well.

the Vitruvian Hacks figures so far have things like Roman style warriors and gladiators and gorgons for series one., knights and magicians, skeletons, elf’s ,orca and barbarians withe the series 2 and upcoming halflingish ones have been teased. Series 3 seems to be modern stuff during a zombie apocalypse and they’re teasing some futuristic stuff soon. They also have horses and different parts for different eras for those as well. They have a focus on interchangeable parts and body blanks to mix and match and make your own. There’s quite a few customization people that have created interesting characters out of them.

personally, I really dig the medieval stuff, since I don’t know any other companies that do small scale highly articulated knights. I also love skeletons. The cool thing is that if you get multiples of one of the knights, there’s usually parts to make at least three or more similar, but different characters. Or you can use the most common type of head and build a little army. They also sell custom parts packs if you feel adventurous

This one looked pretty cool and is using the newer joint system for their 1/18 figures. More of a Roman looking than their previous Greek style soldiers

the skeletons are the epic 6 inch scale in these pictures and the last two are 1/18th scale figures for the standard line.
