Lolicon Posted December 29, 2021 Share Posted December 29, 2021 Just got home and had a chance to open my 31AX. Overall she's a beautiful bird. A nice step up from the 31 line. Just a few quick notes: The original 31 line had cockpits that were too small and pilots were squished up against the instrument panel. Now the pendulum has swung the other way: cockpits that are way too big for the pilots. It's pushing DX VF-1 levels of oversized cockpits/undersized pilots. Bandai cheaped out and painted the forward sensors on instead of giving us clear parts. I actually like the Walkure stand. Not because of the Walkure logo but because it's a nice white stand that looks better than the regular old hex stand. Noticed that the box was a step down from the premium boxes we got with the original 31 line. And freaking styrofoam again? After the much better plastic trays with the VF-1 and YF-29? F U Bandai. Except DHL isn't closed. We have people on this message board receiving theirs via DHL right now. I'm already skeptical of their response. Some business will be either still be closed for the holiday or short staffed. DHL will be short staffed , so if they use any logistic packaging service from them, it might still be close until January. Luna park stores staff is probably also off for the Holidays too. In short, don't expect anything shipping out until January. Anything that shipped out near Christmas is more of an exception than the norm. We have not been shipping since two days before Xmas and we won't resume shipping until next week. We're effectively closed (we'll, we're doing a bunch of behind the scenes things). While you could potentially knock it out of place I'd never call it anything like a "problem." Lolicon seems to have had zero problems lining his up. Would have preferred bandai to use the VF-31A kairos as the base and mod it from there The sliding mechanism on the forearms, i believe is to give it a beefier look and it may act as some sort of armour for the elbow joints. The gun is pointing downwards and is wabling, because no additionnal peg to maintain it or design issue.
