I've not been following these movies, but seeing these posters hit me right in the nostalgia... esp. with Optimus and Arcee looking so much like their G1 counterparts. How would people know that this is a movie in their beloved franchise if not muffler face is on the poster??? Also you need to keep in mind that the movies need to keep Lorenzo di Boneventura's personal head cannon straight so they can never change this pillar of the franchise!!! Unfortunately I had a cousin pass away about two weeks ago, I've been spending a lot of time with his son lately trying to keep him entertained and distracted, he's a massive Transformers fan, so we are hyped to go see this opening day. twich Posted June 10, 2023 Share Posted June 10, 2023 I saw it yesterday in the theatre, despite 2 power outages and the sound being gone and several rewinds of the film, but I really enjoyed it and my 14 year old son was in awe. I have some reservations on some of the statements and themes, but in todays society I guess it is par for course, and I want to avoid political conversation like the plague. As someone hinted, there are definite signs that this could be the beginning of a larger cinematic universe. Which, if it gets us more transformers movies. Bumblebee surprised me when it came out just in those first few minutes. the film was rather boring, poorly edited, the visuals were out of place with bad motion blurs and generic designs.
