The only question would be now is how many VF-1's are they planning to collect in 1/35 scale?

If they released 1/35 Roys I would get three. And then stop. That's reasonable right?:unknw:

I think that's reasonable. You have to display all modes, right? ;)

But then, you have to remember, Roy's have atleast 2 VF-1 variants to get. TV Vanilla (no Supers) and the DYRL (Strike). Does that mean you're going to end up getting 6 or just pick the best variant for all the modes?

That's easy. Three Strikes/DYRL.8)

I'm getting a mental breakdown just thinking of a space to put a 1/35 sized valk in my display case (and give the box to my cat as a sleeping bed). :vava:

On the plus side, the 1/35 box double as your cats sleeping bed.:lol:

so ur not just buying it for yourself!

cant imagine the displays  rooms needed, to house 1/35 valk lineups...

yea prolly thats why bandai just be teasing...

In Battroid with the Strike Cannon straight up they would be about 20.5" tall. In Fighter they would be about 15"L x 15"W. In Gerwalk 12.75"T x 15"W x 12"L.

I could fit them on my existing DX shelf if I moved the one above it up 6". That would take me from 6 Valks on the shelf down to 3 though......maybe. Depending on how they "stack up" I could probably put my 1/55 Chunky in there too.:unknw: Anyhoo, that would be the focal point of my Macross collection. I'd spend the space for that.

No love for TV Roy eh? I dig his contrasting flightsuit colors and bigger role/screentime in SDFM. Sorry for off-topic.

I'm going to go with less love. I'd prefer something with Packs on it if it's going to cost that much money and take up that much space. Unlimited money and space? Sure, bring on the TV Roy's as well as a Hikaru Skull One with Supers.:good:

I suspect a 1/48 fighter on landing gears displayed under the 1/35 gerwalk legs is doable. And then we be discussing 1/35 display stands as alternatives too!
Yeah, would like to see what display you would come up with if ever it happens...

I'll be having one pitted with the eventual Generation Select Black Zarak on top of my detolf. Gotta place the unbuilt Discovery somewhere else then.

I'd definitely need to keep that box for myself to sleep in once the wife saw what I'd bought.  I'd have to change my name to Anton

We should probably ask @Kicker773 for advice. Below is his post in the DX VF-171EX and Macross Collection Display threads. ;)

Yeah, I don’t see how 1/35 scales can fit into those display cabinets well. It’s just a hypothetical question anyway since I don’t quite thk bandai will issue it.

The 1/35 valks (if decked with SSP or Supers) will fit inside the Detolf if you take out a glass shelf on the bottom and it put it inside otherwise your going to have to get a PAX wardrobe for it and it might fit the Haslab Harbinger of the Universe in bot mode if one has it also.

back on topic? Oh you mean like a 1/35th scale GBP?? :p

j/king j/king

But back on topic...i dont think we would quite see alternate schemes for the GBP.

Not especially if the new delta movie is coming out and there will be new valks to release...

Hi Macross fans,

In Macross movie(s) or TV, I only recalled VF-1J with GBP, but not the VF-1S (Roy) GBP?? I saw VF-1S GBP in black and yellow.

Please help to recall and verify.

Thanks.

Ben

Yup. It's only VF-1J who gets to wear the GBP in the anime and movie. The rest are artworks from the model kits back in the 80's.

Wow, thank you so much for your clarification and pictures. I recalled seeing some of these boxes when I was a kid in model shops.

I heard that the last VF-1J release with a "01" error, not sure Bandai will fix it in this new version or not??

Thanks.

There is also an Armored VF-1A that makes a brief appearance in Ep 27....

Love all, but cannot spend too much :). My thought is, Bandai could sell different "heads", after wearing the GBP armor, except for the number on chest, color, they look the same :)

You can do the Takatoku approach. ;)
