kajnrig Posted November 11 Posted November 11 (edited) I wonder if they're going to bother concocting a reason for the gang to be together again. Frankly, I'd rather they not, just have it be a standalone episode and let the fans figure out the canon if they really absolutely must do so. Dynaman Posted November 15 Posted November 15 SpongeBob looks like it will be worth a watch when it comes to streaming. They really ought to stop calling them "The SpongeBob Movie" at this point, don't remember if this is the fourth or fifth one. Quote

TangledThorns Posted November 18 Author Posted November 18 Looks like an actual movie and though I probably won't see it in the theater I hope it does well. Quote
Old_Nash_II Posted November 20 Posted November 20 I wanted to understand the point of this animal avatar. Looks like it's going to flop again. Quote

TangledThorns Posted November 21 Author Posted November 21 You know... I thought Daisy Ridley would have a better career than this. Quote
Thom Posted November 21 Posted November 21 I think it was just too many people harping about the SW sequels, and that's a lot of useless baggage. I'm not really into zombie films, but I hope this does real good for her. She is a good actress. Quote
Dynaman Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Yup, the SW sequels did not do any of the actors in them any favors. Zombie movies are not my thing (very few movies are these days) but it looks worth a watch when it comes out on streaming. Quote

Yeah, she made some odd decisions career wise. She’s done some lesser than may stuff, but nothing that really stood out, now she’s on to b movies and probably will soon be forgotten Quote
Old_Nash_II Posted November 25 Posted November 25 I understand that Sony has other things besides the Spider-Verse, but this is too generic. It's hard to believe they traded K-Pop Demon Hunters for this. Quote

I hate that it's been so long, but love that they (the original trilogy) have continued to hold up so well. Still the pinnacle of fantasy movies. Quote

They’ve definitely held up pretty well compared to most modern fantasy. I still think there was a certain magic to the 80’s fantasy films though like Legend, Conan, Never Ending Story, Labyrinth and Dark Crystal. Might be the mix of visuals and great soundtracks Quote
TangledThorns Posted yesterday at 01:35 PM Author Posted yesterday at 01:35 PM LOTR trilogy was a epic time to be in the theater. I wish these were the original cuts as I would take my children to see it as they wouldn't have the patience for the extended cuts. Quote
rsvictor1976 Posted yesterday at 05:25 PM Posted yesterday at 05:25 PM Maybe it's my age, but I can't sit through a 2.5+ hour movie like I used to. There's no way I can watch the extended editions in a movie theater unless they gave me a remote so I can pause the movie every now and then. Quote
