They didn’t look perfect, but they didn’t look terrible or anything. I went to their website and, aside from both toys being listed as Out of Stock, found no information/updates. It's a shame these have been cancelled. I've had one of each preordered since they were first announced, to the tune of almost a Benjamin, and would love to have those funds freed for other pursuits. The Robotech curse is real. 😳 My guess is that the license covered "manufacturing and selling". So, they are still going to sell what was manufactured, but not manufacture new stuff. Shocktroopers had not been manufactured yet. Scouts had been manufactured, but didn't fit up right, so, as he said in the video, were more like model kits you need to glue in place rather than toys you can play with and swap out the boosters on. For that reason, he felt they were not worth the price that people had paid, so he is going to offer them at a reduced rate, since they are essentially models to turn into statues. I'm disappointed, since I always want more Mospeada stuff, and had one of each on preorder. The only thing I have received is my Hellcat (I loved Sentinels as a kid). However, this feels like a true fan trying to be ethical while dealing with real-world finances and real-world other obligations in his life, so I totally respect it. I don't think Sentinel participated directly in the said event. Though there's a few Sentinel products displayed I believe. But probably by other distributors. But it’s probably still the best Legioss toy out there now. No flopping parts in fighter mode, and can hold all sorts of poses in Soldier mode. If I remember correctly it was in the year when the oil future prices crashed. Made it a little unaffordable to have multiples of that one. roboemo Posted March 11, 2023 Share Posted March 11, 2023 (edited) Kinda enjoy it, but a bit iffy on the knife part (like doesn't seem good for a scalpel or bone saw). Seems that they have artificial food, but wish they explore civilian life (Lunk/Jim did say that he joined to feed his family, so possible rationing). Like that they kept the original pistol but feel that rifle attachment is cumbersome. Also not sure if they have a prosthetics kit, like something that can be done in a field hospital for wounded Mars Base soldiers. It does have some loose fit joints as MEP indicated but they were no where as loose as I was expecting. Just use a little of your favorite joint filler (kiki, glue, nail polish, etc...) and they are good to go.
