So these so-called "new" Fast Packs look pretty much the same as the original ones...in fact, they really do not tab in properly to the reconfigured leg tabs of the V2.X...so not really sure what's new about them other than the colors....I will point out the issues once I post pics of the Super VF-1J Max fighter...as that is the one mode where these supposedly redesigned fast packs would have come in handy....

Anyway, imo, they look good in gerwalk and battroid...less so in fighter mode due to the odd connection points or lack of them...

The blue color plastic chosen is great looking and I really like the shade of blue-grey used for the various bits of the Fast Pack armor...oh yeah...another QC issue....the grey covers for the missile bays on the thrusters seem to just stay locked in via wishful thinking....swoosh too much and they easily slide off....at least on my Max set....have not checked if this is also an issue with the Milia Fast Packs....

Nothing really bothersom in this mode....the Fast Packs do not need to engage with the new leg tabs like they need to in fighter mode....all holds well, other than the covers for the micro-missiles....in battroid mode, it is clearly gravity that keeps keeps them from falling off randomly...lol...still, love the colors...KC needs to release a low-viz using this shade of grey

Looks good, will definitely PO...lighting gimmick looks good on it...

Wish they would have posed it next to one of their 1/72 VF-1's for scale...

Can you post the link to the pics?

Got them through a whatsapp group, will ask for the link!

A couple more:

LOL...as long as their tampo printing on the final product isn't as bad as it was on their recent V2.X VF-1S Hikaru...

To KC's credit, they are sending me the parts to fix this...but it seems they continuosly have QC issues....the recent Max and Milia came close, but not 100%...maybe the upcoming enemy mechs line and Destroids will have better luck...:good:

KC will need to release N-Gers and Q-Raus at some point...they are running out of canon VF-1 variants!

If the look good I’d probably be picking up some. The glaug is definitely looking pretty good. The eye is a bit red compared to the yellow and orange colors, but it doesn’t look bad.

I don't see any problem with the reguild pods, I think those'll be kinda fun to have one or two of. My worry for the officer pod will be that it's so front top heavy it'll just drop like in those photos. Mostly why I hate my AT-ST and ED209 figures....they just flop.

Think I got 1 more week maybe even less before the VF-1J shows up.

Personally I think the regult is too round, unlike others that have been too thin.

as far as the glaug, it is still a prototype, so hopefully it will be tightened up by release.

I'm not a huge fan of adding in the light-up gimmicks on the Zents and Destroids, especially when it leads to clear pieces popping all over. I'm also wondering about the rotating missile pod on the Tomahawk. It's interesting but not sure it is something anyone has been clambering for?

And it is a bad sign when the joints for your demo pieces lead your Glaug to fall asleep.

I wonder if the Regult pilot can fit in the Glaug? You would think it does. I wonder if they're going to do 'in scale' Zentraedi figures in addition to the pilots/soldiers. Miriya, Azonia, Khyron, Breetai, and Exedore as a five pack would be sweet! Hmm but what about Dolza and Bronn? Anywho,

They might be compatible between them, but they’d probably barely be taller than the knees on the tomahawk to fit the glaug

This!!! Hahahahahaaha! Those poooor little "M's"...   I have to say, the Destroids look good!  I'm all in for a Glaug and a pod or two if the price isn't insane!

These enemy units made me realize just how massive they'd be if they were in proper Bandai DX scale. Holy crap. Are these KC baddies somewhat close to being in-scale with the Veritechs or are they kinda fudging it?

Would have been nice to have placed one of their 1/72 VF-1's next to any one of the destroids or enemy mechs...mechanics....

My guess is there will  be some fudging, although the destroids do look comparatively smaller than the enemy mechs....still, without their VF-1 it is kind of hard to tell how much fudging is in play

Holy smokes.

I think we’re better off burning our money than supporting anymore of these atrocities to human kind.

The VFs look like Yamato V1.75.

While the  rest of the sculpts have some really odd shapes that I don’t think beer goggles can fix.

I think I’ll keep sticking to others for my Macross fixes.

And to be honest I liked their SD and posable figures.

What a bummer.

With the latest KC Valkyrie/Veritech design improvements, I can’t shake the notion that the popped tail in fighter mode gives their Valk bunny ears. Alas, although amusing, no VF reinvestment from me.

The fabric clothing shown on Minmay and Hikaru…er…Rick…needs more work, especially if KC are doubling down on the new gimmick as these prototypes show.

Minmay’s dress and turtleneck combo could use more color adjustments, especially in the yellow and blue. The hemline could be brought in a smidge so that the dress doesn’t billow and look baggy. Also, I think the shoes worn with this outfit were open toe in the show?

Rick’s fan racer suit is missing much of its own detailing: the black stripes and the grey pieces on the side (for instance). I would expect these details on a retail copy.

I personally want more of the SD valks.   The SD GBP is pretty much why I am sticking around.      Enemy Mecha and Destroids have my interest but the cloth figures.. not so much.    As for the 1/72 valks so far minus some QA issues I like them,   probably not going to get every release as they keep going up in price.

A little harsh...lol

It can't be denied that these KC's are suffering from QC issues, but aside from the blocky intakes, it's not that bad....well, other than reversing their progress with their blockhead move of tampering with the leg tabs, which ruined the profile in fighter even more....but gerwalk and battroid are good...and no way as bad as a the forgotten Yamato V1...

I know the Yamato V2, but I assume the 1.75 is pretty much a 1.0 in terms of outward looks?...

I would say the KC is more lanky...more like the Yamato V2 but not as lanky as the 1/72 Bandai VF-1 transformable kit of a few years back...

Well mine came in, and the left hand was so tight that when I tried to wiggle the thumb just a hair to get better clearance to tuck the wrist inside the forearm, the thumb snapped right off. Got some gaping between the fuselage and main body when in fighter mode cause it won't sit anymore flush than where it sits, and everything on it in general is just SUPER SUPER SUUUPPPPPPEEEERRRR TIGHT right down to the wings. Sheesh....I'm worried I'm gonna break this thing even worse than just the thumb.
