McFarlane Toys, after months of speculaiton and little news, have finally revealed their first figures from their new DC Multiverse line of figures. Each figure will stand at 7 inches tall, and feature 22 points of articulation, along with all the detailed sculpting work and care we have come to know from them. Also included with each is a collectible card and a figure base. All that for $19.99 to 24.95 a figure. The best part? They will be in stores this month, and can even be preordered later today, along with in-scale vehicles! Enough from me, check everything out below!

McFarlane Toys, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and DC, today revealed images and details of the highly anticipated new DC Multiverse collector figure line by McFarlane Toys, available in both mass and specialty retailers beginning January 2020.

The new DC Multiverse collector line features incredibly detailed 7-inch figures designed with an impressive 22 points of articulation. Each figure comes with a collectable card that has character-specific art and biography, multiple accessories, and a display base. MSRP is $19.99 to $24.99 USD for each figure.

“McFarlane Toys has kept the DC Multiverse action figure line-up and images top-secret, but today I’m thrilled to show fans, collectors and big kids, like me, the incredible range of DC Super Hero and Super-Villain character designs that our team has created just for them to bring home,” said Todd McFarlane, Creative Force and CEO of McFarlane Toys.

That’s terrible.

Babs Gordon doesn't look so bad, but agreed I was put off by these big ol' spaces on Supes and Bats.  Weird design choice.  Wonder why they went with that over a hinge.

The SOTA Street Fighter line does different treatments for different figures.  Tall figs like Birdie, Balrog, and Sagat got ab hinges, while E. Honda and Dhalsim got ab swivels like this.  They also don't look that great, but not as bad as this, and over 10 years ago now, and from a smaller company with a lesser budget.

They did do a highly articulated Spawn a long while back. It’s a bit of a floppy mess, but looks cool in certain poses. I think it was for an image comics anniversary. They also did a Medicom one or two, but I didn’t have the cash for them back then.

I would like a modern treatment for Spawn as far as articulated action figures. Or maybe a team up with one of the Japanese companies to do a figma, revoltech, or sh figuart release. But that’s probably just dreaming.

Well, I'm a whore for anything Batman Arkham-game related, so I'm in on these. It's the only franchise where I can claim absolute 100% all achievements on every game to this point.

Only one of these figures I have so far is Superman, and I still can't get over the fact that he can't look up far enough to create a convincing flying pose.
