Hold on a minute here... <_<

This looks very familar if you guys didn't know.

 * Beaten by @rdrunner on the post above. *

That flight deck mat is the same one that I posted a link here from YouTube couple of pages back and now it has been removed.

Tekering mentioned that only one valk is has the front landing gear up while the others have noses planted on the ground.

Am I right on that @xoxokin

Edit: Had the video posted on page 8 before it went into vaporware.

@Ioxoxin, 我是對的嗎?

編輯:如果視頻在進入蒸發器之前發佈在第8頁。

YOU TUBE STILL HAVE THE VIDEO!

I think I stepped out of the Macross game back in the Yamato days shortly after the 2Max and Hikaru DYRL 1As and Roy !s were released (in the 2005 time range). I loved those things, and always regretted never being able to grab a CF.

Time has moved on, and (with the Yammie/Arcadia v2s and now the DXs) the old 1/48 may be somewhat dated, but it will always hold a special place in my heart alongside the 1/55s.

Wow I had no idea the factory delivered VF-1s shrink-wrapped to Prometheus. :rolleyes:

Well... Any major bumps or scratches makes the valk useless upon delivery from transport, so somehow its got to be protected adequately before the initial flight correct?

Like Isamu looking at the new YF-19 at New Edwards before he beats the total snot out of it. ;)

Cool! were the decals already applied or you stuck them on?

Applied by previous owner as I wouldn't even put it on at all. You can see the decals are peeling away from the missiles if you look closely.

Organized the boxes and tempted to let them out. I still have 1/48 boxes wrapped with plastic from someone I bought on the forum in 09 I think. Anyways might lay them all in valk mode while I dust.

Please do and don’t spare any pictures.

Valkyrie porn pics coming up!

I’m afraid to take out the Roy’s. There are like 4 versions and the three can get confusing due to the markings and box type (not including the last one with new “small box” and of course there is the weathered Roy. Whatever happened to the rest of the 1/48 OG? Godzilla was one and I forgot the other one. Miss those days, now we got kids.

Good to rearrange the storage boxes, found out that I have three of the TV max and Ben.  Always a surprise to find things I thought I didn’t have. So two of each unopened

Couldn’t resist posting while I slowly dust through the 1/60 first...sorry led lights  wasn’t on. Valk porn coming soon...7781B1C7-4DBB-4C1A-8D30-86875F9359AB.thumb.jpeg.449b986c225bb046502dc1267b10b5b8.jpeg

mate this means nothing till you post up a photo for all of us to see! ;):D

chop chop! :p

Since you asked...

And I don't see why the 1/48's are so maligned.  Clearly Bandai's 1/48's are not the revolutionary toy everybody hoped for, and truth be told, the Yammie 1/48's really transformed the toymaking industry.  It was the first time that CGI was applied, and applied so elegantly.  Bandai really raised their game after this.  It was only then that the MF toys started making their debut.  So yea, I still have to hand it to the 1/48's.  Pictured here is the toy that started it all for me way back in 2003.  Got it all the way from Japan in a crumbling box with the edges exposed.  Sent it off to AFA and it scored a 90, one of only two for the Low Viz in existence.  Will always love and cherish it!

When I was collecting 10yrs ago I was pretty much all 1/48 aside from the Plus and Zero stuff. Unfortunately I sold that collection off long ago (along with some I would kill for now).

Now that I'm back in the game I'm really glad to see the DX 1/48's. I have purchased some 1/60's and some 1/48's. The 1/48's hold sway over a soft spot in my heart. I can't wait for delivery of the VF-1S Hikaru and S&S parts and looking forward to the Roy PO bloodbath.:diablo:

I'm absolutely having LEK do his thing on one of my VF-1S Hikaru's (but in Roy colors) as soon as I get one.

If someone did a big dollar PF 1/35 VF-1S w/ S&S parts I would be all in and then some!
