The Tamashii Web Shop shows the release date for the Super Parts as 18 May. Gonna try to touch it up with flat black paint. Its not too noticeable at a distance but still bummed me out. Anyone have any tips on how i can touch up that area with an airbrush? I cant do the whole wing because of the tampo prints. It might be the same for 31F unless the 31F super is a better seller and NY allocations get sold out fast (which imo, never happened to 31J). The battroid image on the flap cover is UV coated. Edit: Opps. Sorry. Not just the battroid image. Even the fighter image too. So basically the whole image of the Valk is UV coated. eggy99 Posted May 10, 2017 Share Posted May 10, 2017 Just opened up my Messer 31F and noticed that the outer left wing on mine is a little saggy compared to the right wing when they are locked into place for fighter mode. I push it into place and it pops back out again a tiny bit, so it's not 100% flush with the inner part of the wing. I've tried to shave away some of the plastic around the inside, but hasn't made a difference. Wonder if I should try just cutting off the pegs. Do they even serve a purpose? Chronocidal Posted May 10, 2017 Share Posted May 10, 2017 I wouldn't cut off those pegs entirely, but check the sizes to see if the ones on the saggy wing are oversized maybe? After my experiences trying to get assorted Bandai valks apart though, I'm tempted to say don't even try it. There might be some smaller bits you can get into, but everything they make seems to be a multi-layered screw-and-glue sandwich. You're more likely to damage the paint/tampo/plastic than you are to get anywhere with fixing the wing. I guess if the asymmetry bugs you, and the gap isn't bad, you could try bulking up the tabs on the opposite wing so they sag evenly. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have that exact same problem on the right wing of my Vf-31J. I was never able to figure out how to correct it. I tried shaving bits of the peg off/etc, to no avail. I kept folding/unfolding it thinking I must be doing something wrong but it is always a little off.
