Draal
Hey, I remember looking through a bunch of pictures from last years (2003) Anime Expo and a picutre of a prototype Escalfowne model stuck with me. Any word on when this will be released and more importantly, whats a good import shop to pick it up online (or R2 model kits in general). Thanks, Draal
JELEINEN
It's out in Japan and shortly in the US, if not already. Do a search. There's a recent thread that has a bunch of the info.

s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
I got mine from Kev and I must say he delivers quickly and not a scratch on my boxes. I don't know how you guys do it, you & Tamim, you guys are choice sellers in my book! Here's a couple quick pics
s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
and another. BTW if the escaflowne were 1/48 it should stand as tall at the halfway mark of the Valkyrie's sheild canopy. s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
and last but not least, my favorite. Although Yamato could've done better with the transformation to dragon mode, I think you get what you paid for. The SHE kit for instance has perfect transformation nothing is detachable that I know of and it is half the size of Yamato! I would like Yamato to continue the escaflowne line and make more guymelefs!
GreenGuy42
I love your dragon pose, Sithlord. How long did it take you to balance the damned thing?
s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d
The pose didn't take no time but the transformation was hell. Like my first yammie yf-19! The legs was easy enough to transform but I thought I wouldv'e figured it out without the manual but I gave in and tried to decipher what Graham had put down on the manual. Im a little hazy about the arm position in dragon mode. It seems that the arms need some locking mechanism within the shoulders.
GreenGuy42
I just fear the tabs that hold the legs together breaking. The rest of the toy seems unusually sturdy, but I've got a small stress mark on one of 'em, even AFTER careful transformation.

The Escaflowne looks fantastic, especially in the dragon mode.
