I'd forgotten just how, er, clean it looks out of the box.  Also forgot what an ordeal it was to open the rear landing gear bay doors... Your weathered VF-0S looks great! Yes, its amazing how bare the toy is straight out of the box for $400-500. I'd get one on sale maybe, but like you said, its a lot of work. I didn't read the manual so I'm not 100% sure if I have everything securely fastened. She's a real beast though! I don't think even Ozma's armor was this beefy. Missiles are the same kind of pinkish white as newer Arcadia valks, as already noted. I'd like to add some decals and panel detailing one of these days. I wasn't expecting a premium finish, but I was expecting more detail: like some shading to highlight the rivets, for instance, or the red warning triangles on the missile bays. Both would have been a nice touch. With the announced assembly kit, I'm thinking that I'll wait and roll my own armor (although it might take a while to finish since I haven't done any modeling in years). seti88 Posted February 17, 2017 Share Posted February 17, 2017 On the panel lines, the RA didn't have that many to begin with, even the hase kit was quite smooth from the front view. Tho i did wish they did at least apply some ratchet holes on the corners of the armor panels for effect. That could be quite easily tapped into with a sharp pin i suppose.
