Thanks!  I had some concerns for these particular items because we don't really know what's in these particular boxes so I thought specific items might fetch more if they were identified.

Ah.....scratch that...I forgot that these were "blind boxes"....special case, but including the box is still better than not having them.....so in this case, you probably would want to open them and see if you have the "chase" figs, which would be the ones that are more valuable.....and then price them accordingly....

I believe with these CM's....the Chase figs are worth the most, followed by the solid colored hair figs...the alternate hair colored figs are worth the least (if I remember correctly, some sets the hair was clear/translucent and some sets were just alternate paint schemes or tried to duplicate some other effect, like watercolors, etc.

Thanks again!  I might carefully cut the boxes open and see what we have in there.  I have an open Basara I already know I want to part with, lol!

Hi, it’s been 3+ years since I’ve been active in this site, family moved in 2017 and my collection has been boxed up since. Figured I’d take some time during this break to list a few.
i have two Arcadia items I purchased new when they were released a VF-0D and a VF-4G. Both I displayed on yeti stands in fighter mode only for a few months, never transformed. I know, weird, but I really just liked the plane mode the best.

Any idea on what these would go for? Boxes in Good shape, no stickers applied, all pieces accounted for.
thanks!

Hard to say, but probably not the best time to sell them.

The VF-0D just had a recent release, with many issues on the first release fixed, plus a premium weathered finish.

The VF-4 is getting a release in a couple months.

Ah good info to know thanks! I’ll give eBay a shot

Here are recent sales for both.....find the appropriate listings for maybe 1-2 months worth of sales....then average them out.....add $20 bucks for proxy and local shipping fees....then add international shipping fee (35-60 USD?)....that should give you an idea of what it would cost someone to buy the items straight from Japan......then you can price yours accordingly....I would say since they are technically not MISB.....buyers are going to expect to pay a little less for them...maybe 10-15%?  Final price is ultimately based on what you and your buyer agree to....

I'm thinking of picking up a 1/72 Glaug kit, but is it worth $130?  These seem kinda rare, but the 1/100 versions are less than half that price.  For $50 more I could just get an HMR without all the work, but I don't feel like it scales properly to the rest of the line.  Frankly, I'm thinking for all the non-valk things, I'll just do the Robotech RPG or Minitech miniatures for my display instead for much cheaper.

Anyone know what the current asking price is for the CM's Max Pilot figure?

There are two on eBay and the prices seem ridiculously high.

Last one from YJA...add proxy fees and shipping to your door to get an idea of what it would cost you to buy one directly from Japan....

Thanks @jvmacross The final price here (YJA) is definitely better than Ebay, one of them there was $299.00.

No problem!

I can understand a "finder's fee"...but the eBay prices seem "out of touch" with current market prices for it

The sad thing with eBay is it's very true nickname "Fee Bay", if you seller a $255.00 item for example that's an automatic $30-$33.00 seller fee plus all the others. Still some prices are just gouging at best. It's why I like to deal here with MW members, it's far more legit. B))

Speaking of prices that swing on a dime, a Yamato 1/48 VF-1A Cannon Fodder with the box or without, what are those running? I've seen them as high as $999.00 on eBay and low as $120.00 0n Mandarake with the box in good condition.

Between 100-150.00 on YJA...plus fees and International shipping......

Been out of the Macross collecting loop and came across this valk that I had packed up in storage.  Not sure if it's worth anything anymore.  I never liked Macross 7, just the VF-19S design.  It's a limited edition full chrome VF-19S DX Blitzer Valk.  It's NIB, opened a VERY LONG TIME AGO to verify  content, and never played or displayed.   Box and Figure are in Excellent condition. I appreciate all feedback. Thanks guys!

What's the going rate for a displayed only DX DYRL VF-1S with a couple of corner dings to the box? Also, missing one of the Gerwalk antennas. (Came that way)

Somewhere between 250-300 shipped straight from Japan....there is currently not much difference between MISB and "used"...obviously, if it is trashed, then you can expect to get less for it...listing it with the one antenna missing may cause some buyers to hesitate, but as long as it still includes one of them you shouldn't get that much of a ding for it....

It is a cool collectible...Unfortunately, their glory days are long past......

The only actual sale I could find on auction was this one for 6,000 JPY....

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/o442971620

If you find the right collector looking to fill this particular void in their M7 collection, you could probably get 100 bucks shipped within the USA as long as it is complete with all of the packaging materials and accessories, it looks to be in mint condition based on the box condition

BTW, found this current listing for 24,000 JPY.....I seriously doubt it will sell...but maybe keep an eye on it...or sell yours now at a lower price and hopefully one of those 3 people "watching" it may find your listing!

I appreciate the help.  Didn't think it was worth much. It's a very niche toy. I didn't like M7 either, but I do like the VF-19S design.  Yeah, it's in mint condition, that comes complete with everything. But by god, I can't believe there's an auction for 24000 JPY.

Sellers are free to post their items for whatever amounts they conjure up in their heads....doesn't mean it will sell at that price though....

In fact, sometimes those conjured up prices earn spots in Macross World's "Auctions of Great Absurdity"....

Wasn't sure where to post this so I'm trying here.  Have a chance to buy a Yamato VF-1A Cavaliers valkyrie from and overseas seller.  He's asking $470 shipped.  Seems kinda high but I wasn't sure of the rarity of such a toy.  I didn't think it was THAT rare but I wanted to get the opinions of some people on here.

The Yamato VF-1A Cavaliers is somewhat HTF....it only had one run and it was not a "must get" valk at the time of release.....it's appreciation in value came later once Yamato went out of business and "The Panic" set in.....it has never had a re-release from Arcadia and likely will never have one....with that said, it's value and desireability/collectibility has more or less peaked....

I have no links to recent auctions sales from YJA...Mandarake is not a great measure for the market price for the majority of Macross collectibles, but they do have one that they sold recently....

https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1159971929&ref=list&keyword=マクロス VF-1A&lang=en

With that said, If you wanted to acquire one I am fairly confident that you would be paying about 300-400 USD for one plus international shipping (which currenty is pretty high).....I would say 470 USD shipped is pretty close to market price.....keep in mind that condition also affects the final value of anything...is it new, used, displayed, transformed?  Is it missing any parts or packaging materials....what is the condition of the box?  In the end, the price will also be determined by how much you are willing to pay for it and how much the seller is willing to accept to part with it....never hurst to ask for a better price or make a reasonable counteroffer....good luck!

As I am in full custom painting mode lately, what would a used/loose Yamato 1/60 VF-0A run these days? You know, a toy known for legs & shoulders that are the pinnacle of QC assurance. B))

Yes, missiles, pilot & gunpod would be good to have as well.

So I was able to get this from the seller for that Mandrake price plus shipping which ended up being about $60USD,  But it's got tracking and should arrive fairly quickly.  Box is also in excellent like new condition.  Toy is excellent as well.  He was the only owner and it was never displayed.  I'm pretty happy with the sale, assuming it doesn't get damaged in shipping but he packed it pretty well.  The Mandrake example had a damaged box and who knows now many owners it had or how many times it was transformed/handled.

It truly is one of the most unique PT Valks ever released from any company.....and it continues to set Yamato apart from the pack of other PT VF makers....

Congrats!

Hey all, I'm kinda thinking about selling my Yamato 1/48 (and one 1/60) customs.  Some were done by Jung, Kurt and some other old old school MWF members.

Any ideas if people are really into customs anymore?  Thoughts?

Note - the 1J is not really a custom.

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. Old member from 2000 here. Went through a couple of rough years and now getting ready to get married, I need to sell off my collection. Please let me know what a fair price is for my collection. I've got a few pieces that I think would be a worthy edition to someone's collection and they deserve a home. I do need the money so I want to sell them for a fair price but the ebay prices I saw obviously are unrealistic. I wanted to see how much they are really worth.

All items are like new, only transformed a few times with all parts included, no yellowing or discoloration, box in like new condition with stickers and instructions included unless otherwise noted.

Renewal Bandai DX VF-25G Michael Blanc with super parts and tornado parts included

Bandai DX YF-29 Ozma Lee colors with super parts included

Arcadia 1/60 YF-19 1st edition (not premiere finish, just regular)

Yamato 1/60 VF-17D with fast pack included

Yamato 1/60 VF-1S Roy Focker DYRL version final edition (no fast packs, regular not premiere finish)

Bandai DX VF-19 Advance- unfortunately as I was preparing it for sale, when I took off one of the leg fast packs it broke the door to the missile bay with it. Pretty disappointing, this was my favorite piece in the collection and I can't believe how fragile this part was. honestly made me want to quit collecting for good

The following are older models and might not be worth much, they are in varying degrees of wear. Probably not worth much but maybe someone would want them just for the historical value??

Yamato 1st edition 1/60 YF-19- this is the original 1/60 with not so ideal proportions. Over the years it has become a floppy mess and cannot even stay standing in gerwalk or battroid mode. I have the fold booster and fast pack set that was sold separately but the actual fold booster is missing. They come in original boxes that are worn with original stickers and instructions included.

Yamato 1st edition 1/60 VF-1A DYRL Max- this is the original Yamato VF-1 toy that is NOT perfect transformable. The legs on this one have to be removed to transform. Box, gunpod, and pilot figure are missing.

Yamato 1st edition 1/72 YF-19- this is THE first YF-19 transformable toy that was ever made.

Non-Macross:

Gundam fix figuration 0013 Deep Striker

I really need the funds, any help would be much appreciated.
