Yard sale/junkyard find

So what happens when your wife (G.F. / S.O. / soulmate) drags you off yard sale hunting?

You visit a place that looks like a junk yard. You make the best of it and carefully peak at the stuff around you.

Some random box stuck in a shed full of bird crap so thick it's like mud. But, a quick look inside the box had me stepping in there. I found this inside!

The cover is rough, the poster has tape on the corners, but the book is complete for the most part. Doesn't have the film strip. I paid a whopping $5.00!

Any idea of what it's worth? I will post more pics tomorrow during the day.

That's like finding gold. There's a guy on youtube that goes to garage / yard sales for videogames. I'm still surprised by the finds. I went to a toy sale once and got some old Star Wars toys. But they knew what they had.

Whoever bought it got a nice deal....just placing the decals alone on the ARMDs makes it more interesting than the pre-built Yamato.....

Yea took a lot of work about 6 months i think. At first, because the toy version seems so plain, i though it was just a matter of assembling it and i would have the toy version in hand. I was wrong! that thing had a lot more paint apps and by then i decided i might as well panel line it and give it a few of my own touches. I did keep a set of 01 and 02 decals in case i ever decide to get the assembled version again.

I bought a set of the decals to bring some life to the toy version.....imo, the toy version is the most boring thing Yamato put out....if they ever decided to release a tv version....my dyrl would never see the light of day again....maybe :)
