I was looking forward to this but so far it's really weak on dialogue, characters feel wooden, the use of modern music doesn't fit & apparently in 1899 all Ocean liners were the same design as the Titanic. I'm slightly of similar opinion about 1899, though I'm only half an hour into the first episode and kept getting distracted by family during that time, so my opinion might change on it. I've done that also, but sometimes it's just as hard to keep from being spoiled as it was easy to find out that Han died in TFA. (Some idiot posted a leaked image on a forum.)
