Thoughts in 'The Fool Nobunaga' kit.

It comes with gold, silver, black and grey sprues lots of detail painting can be done with the supplied stickers.

Kit should stand around 1/12 scale and can be displsyrd armored, unarmored or on the hoverbike.

All in all nice kit with lots of parts and a nice paint job will make it shine even more.

OK, after a bit or rest, made a bit or progress on the knight rider kit. Still working on the Ferrari 348TS.

Need to go and buy paints for the bodywork will also be used on 3 motorbike models.

At the moment it the kits I want either in my PW or ordered, part reducing my kit buying in the future.

Camera battery is charging so photos later on.

Not sure if the unit will work with the SPM as I never had one in had.

Next kit will be the Ingram 2 from Patlabor, again lights/electronics are supplied onand can be put in all similar units.

Patlabor like Knight Rider kits used to be sold separate to upgrade existing kits.

OK, back to strength on the bench, is got a few kits going. Had a bad week health wise.

Surprised this kit hasn't been talked about much, should have arm or on it later. Superbly detailed and mostly metallics(yeah) love the hover-cycle mode(double yeah) and even bought an action base 2 for it.

Painting will be done before end of month, ignore the decals and other stuff in pics.

Was at the doc today, as always I pop in at J.C.Staff next door and say Hi to friends.

The Studio is again extending and taking up more floors in the building.

Catch the elevator and mostly likely you will ride with some of the staff.

Decided to have lunch tomorrow along with an Illustrator(Vanguard, etc) and another friend from Production IG, called friend at Tatsunoko but he is busy.

Of course talk will turn to their current projects.

Took an artistic break today, should make enough progress tomorrow to take a few more pics.

Need to get more wooden photo frames from the 100yen or 300yen stores to use as bases.

Easy and quick, use paperclay to form terrain.

OK, busy right now with other matters.

My Buddhist sect will host a big event at Ryōgoku Kokugikan, with members from all over Japan and overseas. This event only happens once every 10-20yrs.

Also my volunteer work picked up, I do teach some overseas cooking and plamo building to teens at the local community centre.

As can be imagined workbench is also affected.

Below I will post pics of kits as they pass across the bench towards final completion. Small progress on each.

This mornings lot, 1/12 Honda Steed & Yamaha XV1600 Dragstar after lunch. My 1/12 Ride Armor has some serious breakage(old plastic) need to pull apart fix with SSP-HG which I ordered.

SD Naval Fleet, the Kongo is still in my PW, the Akagi(Carrier) has over 200 parts.post-28656-0-99768500-1405477779_thumb.jpg

Besides all good intentions another plan is foiled.

Decided to assemble the wheels on both bikes, the Steed worked out OK.

The XV1600 needs to have the airholes on the disc brakes drilled out x 3.

Looks like my 0.5mm drill bit went missing, so I need to go and buy a new one before proceeding.

The steed frond brake already has the holes in it.

Hi.

KITT is nearly done, base is painted and starting on the figure.

No pics as camera is on the blink.

The build is straightforward with no difficult areas, I didn't paint the body and instead polished it out with a topcompound 2000.

The led kit(supplied or bought separate) just drops in and is secured with4 screws.

2 colours available red=KITT, orange= CARR.

2 cooler days with some rain thanks to typhoon 11.

Today and tomorrow I play model roulette and work on a few kits on a rotation basis.

Also need to work on the Opel Astra as I will need to cut out the various masking seals and 2 sheets of aftermarket carbon fiber decals. Get the 1/144 SW kits ready for weathering.

Also some painting and detail work on 3 V-Twin engines as I want to age the silver/ALU heat distributing paint and get the engines to be dropped into the frames tomorrow.

Also work on the rear-end and gold plated details.

Camera should be back next week.

With rain and heavy humidity there is no paint or dealing work going on.

So decided to work on the MK44 Ammoknights kit, very good quality.

I just need to keep reminding me do every step in the instructions twice as there are 2 kits in the box.

4 legs, 4 arms, 2 opening cockpits, etc.

Grrr, foiled again.

Found out I got a ton of dried out colours, mostly metallics, blacks and base greys.

Have to wait till money comes in on the 2nd before I can afford to go paint shopping.

Still building with the colours that are workable on a few kits, will have some pics tomorrow.

Birthday present for my son is 98% done but it will still be an all-nighter from 2nd to 3rd too get it ready for the party on the 3rd.

Still on reading break, will do some work on models using clear colours and GSI Tire Black to simulate rubber parts later on.

The clear colours will be used to do dashboard lights, simulate gold, heated and worn, stained metal, etc.

Temps now during the day are in the 30-35 Celsius range with a 60% Humidity, not using aircon much to keep the electricity bill low.

So low on motivation to get really stuck in.

Some Vroom Vroom that I dusted off and are occupying the workbench now. Those kits use screws and can be as small as 1.2mm x 2.5mm. They will get an anime touch, pssst .......
