Hello, registered here to see if this community could help me locate a set of the 1/60 Armor Parts for the VF-1 Valkyries, something like this:

http://www.hlj.com/product/ymt00194/Sci

Or if need be, I'll possibly take the set that includes the VF-1J Valkyrie. Looking for version 2, not 1.

Thank you for any assistance. The prices for these are quite high on ebay and would hope to find them a little cheaper in here. If you need reference for trading/buying I'm a member of TFW2005 under the same username. Thanks

I too would love a set but not at ridiculous flea-bay prices. Im going to wait for the Arcadia release.

Is it confirmed that Arcadia is going to make a set? I only know they are releasing movie versions of Roy and Hikaru valkyries in the next month or so.

Thanks for pointing out that auction. I wouldn't know how to bid on a yahoo Japan auction though and from what my google translation is saying, they don't ship internationally. Appreciate it though ;)

You could use buyee to bid on most yahoo japan auctions, though they charge a 10%+200Yen fee if the final auction price is above 5000Yen, as well as paying twice for shipping (japan domestic to buyee warehouse, then international shipping to your doorstep).

There's also a VF-1J+Armor Parts set currently at 11000Yen:

I've used them twice so far. They use EMS to ship internationally and can consolidate/repack items for you (they're actually Tenso.com forwarding, with the proxy bidding as added service).

Falcon18 and Major Focker have also used them before as well, I tried it out based on their recommendations.

They're fairly easy to use. Fees may be a little bit more expensive than the rest but to me that simplicity makes up for it.

Their shipping is by EMS. Your shipping fee is calculated through standard EMS rates + domestic japan shipping from seller to their warehouse. I still am not sure how to find out the domestic shipping rates. Lol.

You can find out your total cost through the "Total Estimate" tab anywhere on the site. Estimate the winning price, domestic shipping (i usually put 1k-2k yen to be safe now cause my super 1S shipped at 1.6k) and you'll get a rough estimate of how much you'll need to pay. What makes the item more expensive through buyee is shipping. Still, relatively cheaper than ebay or amazon if you can't find them easily.

I use fromjapan.com

You must make a deposit before bidding plus 200yen for their service, if you win the auction, you must pay an aditional 5% service fee.

They're pretty reliable, the FJ points system is like some sort of ebay bucks. You wait for the package to get to their warehouse, you have the option to store your items for 30 days if you've won others that are on their way to them and then have all shipped toguether; when you decide to ship everything you must pay the cost of shipping to them plus shipping to you. If you don't win the auction you can release your deposit back to your bank/cc/paypal account if you wish.

Tried using FromJapan. Was pretty easy to use service. Ended up not winning the armor, but now I know around how much it goes for in Japan auctions and how to use FromJapan's site. Refund of my deposit was immediate.

Is there a trick to searching for things on Yahoo Japan auction site? I just did a simple "macross 1/60" search and it returned 1 item. I'm sure I'm missing something....
