moy
Does any one know how many where made and is any one selling one?
skullmilitia
There's one for sale for 2500$ at BBTS.
cool8or
I can' understand why Yamato did a so limited production of this. They could win a lot of money!
EXO
It wasn't really limited. It was open to a per order basis. So anyone and everyone could have bought one if they wanted. There just wasn't enough demand to make steel molds for a toy. It's amazing that they even produced this for the few fans that can afford it. jenius
I think we had a member selling three of them.
cool8or
But Exo, with a price of USD$2.000, obviously the demand will be very limited. This is more expensive than a Garage Kit!
moy
Where on bbts , don't see it?

EXO
But Exo, with a price of USD$2.000, obviously the demand will be very limited. This is more expensive than a Garage Kit! I know... but they realized that the price of a steel mold to make a toy vs. the number they need to sell wasn't feasible. They were going to lose money on it. That's why they went to the smaller scale instead. Also remember that they didn't use standard resin for resin kits for these. It's NOT a garage kit. The fact that they made it available to the public is more than anyone can ask for. Remember, there's a prototype 1/60 Monster out there that no one has ever seen outside of that one show. Valkyrie addict
Yep, 1/2000 SDF-1 is the Holy Grail of Yamato Macross, wish I could get this. Shipping weight over 14 pounds. From hkml.net, a thing of beauty.
