This really took quite sometime as it pops up rather infrequently, more so for reasonable bucks, as compared to the B version. A VF100’s Armored VF-25F. Didn’t feel like paying crazy prices for the 1/60 Renewal Armored Parts, so this will make do as companion display piece to the rest of 1/60 VF-25. Also snagged a set of Sankyo Macross Fever metal straps. Nice metal representation of VF-1J in all 3 modes. Gotta CAD up a stand adapter for the Assembly Kit to get it in DYRL movie pose on a YetiStand still. TBH the Assembly Kit is junk compared to the Arcadia. It’s not nearly as refined. I couldn't wait for the custom cab I have being built for my EVA stuff so I jammed everything in this one for now (except Unit 09 which is still in its box). Looks pretty cool! I remember when I was racing Superbikes (retired 2008) 1000's were about $10,000 and $600's were about $7,000. They're something like $15,000 and $11,000 respectively now I think. Bicycles get crazy expensive too though. One of my mountain bikes was $15,000 and the other $13,000. The $15,000 one is pretty much the upper limit without getting something very custom. Road and Tri bikes get more expensive though. A good quality middle of the road carbon framed mountain bike is $4,000-4,500. All that said, the technology/ materials in newer bikes is amazing. Went for this, as the formania gunship, the wings well, were too featherly for my liking...I admit, expected this gunship to be bigger. Thought a wrong package got delivered instead... Comes with lighted wing engines, transparent figs and a mini mehve in tow as a complete display on the stand... All in a compact display box.. There is that. I started collecting MCX Masters of the Universe because they are small, cheap and manageable. Never planned to get any of the larger figures. But now I’m pretty much all in on the Origins line and been getting some of the even bigger Masterverse line so that didn’t work out. Same would happen to me with these.
