Got some Valk goodness in. DX Chogokin SV-262 Keith and Yamato 1/60 VF-1S Hikaru with Super & Strike Parts. I blame @Slave IV @borgified & others for getting me into Delta Valkyries, but they are are great birds!

Congrats on some nice pickups! If I had pics of my SV-262 with Super Parts, I’d totally use them to try to convince you to get those too. :D

Someone has got your back @Slave IV (plus one additional from me as well.) Will this push @nathans82 over the edge?

Finally got these two up over the weekend

Are those the PF editions?

Crazy me thought of buying the old Yamato editions and swapping out the front fuselages for the rainbow canopy, but that would cost a lot and the Yamato white wouldn't match the Arcadia white. :(

Got my Mark XLV set up. It's my least favorite Iron Man suit (outside the "House Party" suits) but Hot Toys really made it look amazing.

Hope they reissue the other suits I missed out on. The aftermarket on those are even crazier than Bandai stuff.

Yes, sir! I'm really enjoying them.  And if anyone can do those customs it would be you!  haha.  But, yeah I think the different whites would drive me nuts.  Considering the cost and time to do it, it doesn't sound like it'd be a satisfying project.  I get pretty OCD with stuff like that.  That's why I don't even mess with custom stuff.  I don't have a steady hand for any of it.  Even when I get stuff looking ok, I see too many flaws in it.  Sooo, I just admire your stuff and others' from a distance haha.

No it would cost too much and take too much time, and would make my PF versions obsolete. Also, I already finished Miria so I don't want to do that one all over again.

I'll just have to live with no rainbow canopies for M&M. :(

In theory, you could pop off the pieces holding the canopies, and just swap those, but it would depend entirely on how much glue Arcadia used on that part.  I don't believe they use anything stronger than CA glue, so I don't think the parts should be molten together, but you still risk breaking things trying to get them apart.

OMG you saw humans today? I miss humans. Some of my best friends were humans. Unfortunately, even in the best of times, about 50% of humans are below average. Sorry it was an unpleasant experience. I know we're all looking forward to having some feeling of normalcy. In the meantime, at least we have Animal Crossing on the Switch. :)

I purchased a VF-4G Focker from CDJapan. They shipped it to my old address. It got shipped back to Japan just as things were going from bad to crazy bad. CDJapan re-shipped it to the correct address two weeks ago and it's still hasn't moved beyond "in collection." Bummed but it is giving me time to get caught up on some other reviews.

Yes Sir, and i don't take them for granted. I had gifted him several One piece Medicom figures, and I even made an illustration of him being Luffy, and printed it in a big canvas. He has one of the biggest Medicom collections I have ever seen! I am actually in the process of repriinting it, as i am not happy with some of the proportions.

Just what the MG Full Armor Thunderbolt needed: EVEN MORE WEAPONS!

I kid, but seriously beware of "weapon fatigue" if you do this at the same time as the rest of the suit.

I really like the hangar to display the armor off the Thunderbolt  Im definitely not building it at the same time as the kit... its probably why i have been putting off the Psycho Zaku. That backpack is like an entire kit on its own

Yup, it looks good.

Working on my Thunderbolt right now, definitely going to take a break and do something less complicated after though rather than move on to the Psycho Zaku.

Same here im working on Lunamaria's Gunner Zaku and  the Aegis.... The Aegis is a crazy build full of tiny parts. After those two im doing a Wing kit, those are simple enough

Still on a NewAge, Magic Square, and Pocket Toys kick. My son and daughter are loving these as they are much easier to handle and transform versus our MP collection. We just received Ratchet, Ironhide, Jazz, Soundwave, Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker. The plan is acquire more but given the current state of affairs we will hold off until all this Covid19 issue is resolved and we can buy more comfortably in the future. For now we have plenty to enjoy. Although more items are still in transit to arrive any day now.

Who makes those seekers? I’ll check them out and maybe grab one if they look better than the “MP” options I’ve seen.

Be careful. They are pretty addictive and there are lots to collect.:yahoo:

Haha, I get that! Ok, I just checked it out and it does look better than any MP seeker I've sen but the asking price is outrageous for a Legends size figure. I take it you think it's worth it?

I do. They are much easier to transform, paint apps are super crisp and clean, articulations are beyond expectations, and my kids love ‘em. They are a lot of fun to play with.

Plus these scale at about 1/60. Which looks great with your valkyries.

Totally worth it.

Forgot to mention, if you add Impossible Toys Sparkplug and Spike it adds to keeping a cohesive blend of brands for scale.

In thought MP was 1/60. These are probably closer to 1/100, right? I’ll probably grab one off Taobao to check it out because it does look good and I’ve been waiting over 35 years to get some decent Seekers.

Just to clarify, scale in Transformers is based on consistent depictions of relative character heights IN ROBOT MODE.

While many of the Autobots are scaled close to their alt. mode sizes, Decepticon alt. modes very wildly.  :vava:

The Masterpiece seekers were designed as 1:72 F-15s, actually... and the Autobot cars are mostly 1:32 scale.

That's why we scale based on robot modes.  :unknw:

Yeah, I get that part but I was talking about jet mode. This is the first time I’ve heard they are 1/72 but if that’s the case, no way a Legends class is 1/60. Either way, NBD as I don’t care about scaling TFs with Macross but just an added bonus if it did.

Tekering,

I had no idea there was a scale consortium held and we weren’t invited.:p

Thanks for clearing that up, but I will stick to the G1 robot modes on the NewAge figures if you don’t mind. I finally have something that would look appropriate for cartoon aesthetics.

Damn TFs are more hocus locus than anime-magic!

So true, I know he plowed right through this kit and weapons and did a great job though. You are correct though and it’s why I now build the weapons first.  For me, It was becoming a problem not finishing weapons.
