Crazy me thought of buying the old Yamato editions and swapping out the front fuselages for the rainbow canopy, but that would cost a lot and the Yamato white wouldn't match the Arcadia white. Got my Mark XLV set up. It's my least favorite Iron Man suit (outside the "House Party" suits) but Hot Toys really made it look amazing. Hope they reissue the other suits I missed out on. The aftermarket on those are even crazier than Bandai stuff. Edited March 30, 2020 by Lolicon

Yes, sir! I'm really enjoying them. And if anyone can do those customs it would be you! haha. But, yeah I think the different whites would drive me nuts. Considering the cost and time to do it, it doesn't sound like it'd be a satisfying project. I get pretty OCD with stuff like that. That's why I don't even mess with custom stuff. I don't have a steady hand for any of it. Even when I get stuff looking ok, I see too many flaws in it. Sooo, I just admire your stuff and others' from a distance haha. Also, I already finished Miria so I don't want to do that one all over again. I'll just have to live with no rainbow canopies for M&M. Chronocidal
In theory, you could pop off the pieces holding the canopies, and just swap those, but it would depend entirely on how much glue Arcadia used on that part. I don't believe they use anything stronger than CA glue, so I don't think the parts should be molten together, but you still risk breaking things trying to get them apart. jenius
OMG you saw humans today? I miss humans. Some of my best friends were humans. Unfortunately, even in the best of times, about 50% of humans are below average. Sorry it was an unpleasant experience. I know we're all looking forward to having some feeling of normalcy. In the meantime, at least we have Animal Crossing on the Switch. I purchased a VF-4G Focker from CDJapan. They shipped it to my old address. It got shipped back to Japan just as things were going from bad to crazy bad. CDJapan re-shipped it to the correct address two weeks ago and it's still hasn't moved beyond "in collection." Bummed but it is giving me time to get caught up on some other reviews.

I really like the hangar to display the armor off the Thunderbolt Im definitely not building it at the same time as the kit... its probably why i have been putting off the Psycho Zaku. nightmareB4macross
Still on a NewAge, Magic Square, and Pocket Toys kick. My son and daughter are loving these as they are much easier to handle and transform versus our MP collection. We just received Ratchet, Ironhide, Jazz, Soundwave, Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker. The plan is acquire more but given the current state of affairs we will hold off until all this Covid19 issue is resolved and we can buy more comfortably in the future. For now we have plenty to enjoy. Although more items are still in transit to arrive any day now.

They are much easier to transform, paint apps are super crisp and clean, articulations are beyond expectations, and my kids love ‘em. They are a lot of fun to play with. Plus these scale at about 1/60. Which looks great with your valkyries. Totally worth it. Forgot to mention, if you add Impossible Toys Sparkplug and Spike it adds to keeping a cohesive blend of brands for scale. Edited April 6, 2020 by nightmareB4macross . I’ll probably grab one off Taobao to check it out because it does look good and I’ve been waiting over 35 years to get some decent Seekers. nightmareB4macross
When standing: G1 Prime is 6 meters tall and VF-1 is 12.68 meters, more than double Prime’s size. Spike is about 2 meters. https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Official_sizes_and_heights http://www.macross2.net/m3/sdfmacross/vf-1a-valkyrie.htm Edited April 6, 2020 by nightmareB4macross Pic for reference. Just to clarify, scale in Transformers is based on consistent depictions of relative character heights IN ROBOT MODE. While many of the Autobots are scaled close to their alt. mode sizes, Decepticon alt. modes very wildly. 10 hours ago, Slave IV said: I thought MP was 1/60. Yeah, I get that part but I was talking about jet mode. This is the first time I’ve heard they are 1/72 but if that’s the case, no way a Legends class is 1/60. Either way, NBD as I don’t care about scaling TFs with Macross but just an added bonus if it did.
nightmareB4macross
Tekering, I had no idea there was a scale consortium held and we weren’t invited. Thanks for clearing that up, but I will stick to the G1 robot modes on the NewAge figures if you don’t mind. I finally have something that would look appropriate for cartoon aesthetics. Damn TFs are more hocus locus than anime-magic!
DewPoint
Well you know, advanced alien robot technology. Scale means nothing in non-robot modes.
