Lolicon
Had time to open up the Enterprise I recently bought. Comparison between the original duck egg blue version and TV color version. Lolicon
They were released at the same time. One was painted duck egg blue like the actual studio filming model, and the other "TV color" version was painted to more closely resemble how it actually looked on TV after lighting, post-production, etc. Should be more of a warmer grey tone. Shizuka the Cat
WOW! With all the Macross toys released by Yamato, Arcadia, Bandai, etc... I have no idea how someone can possibly keep up with Macross toys, yet alone collect from other franchises like Gundam, Star Wars, Star Trek, and so on. The collections some of you guys amass truly amazes me.
Slave IV
Haha yeah, it is insane! While I consider Macross my main focus right now, Star Wars has been a consistently amassing collection for me since the late 70's. I'm pretty sure I have more Star Wars than anything. Marvel and other superhero things are big with me too but they haven't been getting really great toys until fairly recently considering how long they've been around. Which leads to my comic collection that actually could put the rest of my collection combined to shame.

hachi
If I had a big house I'd have more toys...Unfortunately I spent a lot of my money on gadgets and travel in the first few years of my working life. I regret the gadgets, but I don't regret the travels. Also back then I didn't know the wonderful world of toy collecting via online shops. 52 minutes ago, tekering said: It's all a matter of priorities. I don't have kids but I save for future responsibilities (aging parents, a nephew, my future self). I have some 'investments' but the stock market is kinda down right now. But it is an opportunity for buying. Unfortunately a lot of my budget goes to 'purchases' now

I know exactly how you feel... Getting relevant information on third-party product is becoming harder and harder, as there's just too much idle chatter and minutiae to sift through... TFW2005 is almost as bad as MacrossWorld. FansToys' "Terminus Giganticus" was sold in two parts; "Gabriel" is a single package DX9's proportions are closer to Omega Supreme's animated depiction; FansToys is more G1 toy-accurate "Terminus Giganticus" has balance issues, as multiple video reviews have established; "Gabriel" is more stable and easier to pose FansToys is known for heavier figures with an overabundance of die cast; "Gabriel" is heavy enough as it is...! Simply put, DX9's figure looks exactly like Omega Supreme I remember from the cartoon, and thus fits the Masterpiece aesthetic best. 16 minutes ago, sh9000 said: Got Marvel Legends Promixa Midnight for $10.
