Yeah, Legos are as addicting to collect as anything. I've got boxes full of sets to put together with more on my want list.

What shady store is this mentioned?

Here is my most recent Macross toy, the VF-1S along with a couple others mounted on the wall thanks to Yeti!

yeah yeah I know I shouldn't be spending money on model cars blah blah blah but these were cheap so I couldn't resist! :D

Porsche 997 911 GT3 RS 4.0 by AUTOart.. Never thought very much of these but got it for cheaper than anywhere else listed for sale and the detail/build quality is very good indeed!

1980 Holden Commodore VC SLE (the SLE is the top model luxury version) by Biante..

I usually shy away from buying anything from Biante including these particular Commodore models

as I am skeptical about their build accuracy and quality but after seeing this one in the flesh it actually really impressed me!

The details are many and fantastic! Reclining front seats & sun visors, movable transmission shifter & hand brake, working suspension all round, drive shaft turns when you spin the rear wheels, opening fuel filler door.. just to mention a few.

And at the price I got it for it was just too good to resist!

The quattro. Sorry I don't have a better pic.

Haha, yes, more Autoarts or whatever cars you guys have. Mainly so I can enjoy through your pictures and save money not buying more myself, lol. Only problem with that is it usually backfires because I want my own! That GT3 RS is already calling my name, lol.

I too have been eyeballing that particular RX-7! its pretty sweet eh! and not badly priced at ami.. and those other models you mentioned are very purchase worthy too! plus others on my want list! oh snap! I think I have been re-bitten by the model car collecting bug! :o:wacko::rolleyes::lol:

Nice AUTOarts, spanner! I'm a big fan of the 4.0, and that color is one of my favs.

I see you have the McLaren F1 LM too! I wish I had one myself, but I guess the standard F1 will have to hold me off for now :p

I also have the standard McLaren F1 in black.. I did have the Gran Turismo stealth edition but didn't really like the GT markings on it and thought the big wing didn't suit the stand body so I sold it off..

And so the madness continues!!! Found a white Autoart Lamborghini Aventador (74663) for a bargain price on Mandarake! Including postage (DHL) for about 1/3 cheaper than the orange one I had previously.. yep I think im hooked again! LOL!

I sold off that orange one I originally got as it was rather expensive and although it was good I didn't feel it deserved the "signature" status (especially compared to other Signature models) but considering this white one is quite a bit cheaper means I won't be complaining this time round..

Any place in particular you can recommend?

ebay! there's heaps on there for sale! just check the sellers feedback before deciding on one is all I can recommend..

oh and don't forget to buy the optional Autobot logo!

The A Vent and A Door's..LOL. :D are great! I have the dark grey with brown interior. It was BEFORE Autoart started with the plastic or "composite" style of cars. Which IMHO look fine, but do feel rather cheap in comparison to the older school AutoArts. I just don't feel like I'm getting my money's worth with them. I only own one so far .. the Alfa Romeo 4C. What are your guys thoughts??? That General Lee, McClaren F1 and Zonda are just gorgeous!!! I'll put some pics up of mine this evening!

Awesome! Love all the Autoarts and great selections...Aventador, General Lee, McClaren F1, Zonda, 4C are all ones I'd like. I also only own one, the sport quattro and it is very nice but not sure if it's worth much more than the 959 I have that is from another brand (can't remember atm). If the new ones are plastic, that would bother me.

A friend of mine who is really into detailed model planes and cars saw my stuff and pretty much brushed them off :nea:. Said he was into the even more detailed model stuff that is also made of metal and much cheaper. I haven't looked into any of those yet but that sounds like the way to go if you don't mind putting it together.

Oh, and my latest purchase, Firestorm:

the yellow Autoart C7 Corvette Z06 I have is one of the new plastic/resin builds but its actually really nice! And even though it's not diecast it still has a reasonable weight to it and doesn't look or feel cheap at all. And I think they can make the panel tolerances tighter and sharper with plastic more so than with metal. The Corvette does indeed look superb!

Well, since it's a Corvette plastic is expected. ;)

If it wasn't for the other high priced items I collect I would love to get these. Unfortunately my wallet does have a bottom and I would have to sacrifice too many other cool things. It is the best of times, it is the worst of times to be a toy collector.

^ I like this. ^_^

I love those wall mounted displays! How do you find the build quality & detail of the Hot Wheels Elite compared to Autoart models?

I wouldn't mind a LaFerrari but im just a little concerned about their quality.. I'd even love a F12 Berlinetta! do they even exist as a model?

And even though im not much a fan of those Pagani Huayra but those Autoart Signature series models are very nice!

Great collection you have mate! B))

Here are my high end 1:18's. Mostly Autoart, Hot Wheels Elite for the Ferrari's and one Kyosho Audi R8 V10.
